A nationwide shortage of nurses has caused dozens of emergency rooms across Canada to close temporarily and forced some patients to wait days for a bed.

The situation is getting worse. And trudeau has been ignoring it completely. This is something else PP can call him on.

Wonder how far the ‘existing’ (?) funding coming from somewhere (?) that’s being dumped into the Jagmeet rental in the non-coalition coalitions supply whatever coalition for the Dental promise purchase would have gone if directed towards ER rooms???

Actually that calculation was done somewhat - the provinces asked the feds for more money which they said would be sufficient to resolve the issue, and jagmeet's dental money would have covered that for over a year. Of course the problems are bigger than just money but it's idiotic that we're considering new medical services while people are literally dying because we can't fund the ones we've got.
