The "Happy Chomping Food Market" has pasta on for $1.99 for a 10 lb. bag. 8O

You go to the display and there's four bags left. So, with an eye to the future, you buy them all; with the plan to drop two of the bags in the Food Bank box at the door, on the way out.

This makes you feel good as you are basically a good person and really want to help your fellow human beans, eh.

BUT!! On the way to the door you catch a glance at the headlines of the "Daily Rag", stating the stock market has really gone for a poop, and food shortages "could" be eminent.

Do you drop those two bags in the Food Bank box ?

EH ??

G'Day Nugg,

Go thru with tour original intent and make smaller portions.

hmmm... I know it will sound awful, but, as a breeder, I find myself having a 'me' answer and a 'them' answer. I can go hungry, so if I had only myself to worry about in food shortages, yes, I'd drop off the bags anyway.

But when you have kids, it's my job to make sure they don't go hungry. My view might change depending on how realistic I found the article to be, but, with kids it would make me less likely to drop the food off.
