What history books do you guys read? Britian took the biggest burden becuase THEY WERE LOSING. and so was russia (at first) and china lost the whole time. so of course the bigger loser are gonna have more died.

anything good America has done, but sheezypetes, you
oughta get up to speed shortmanx5 and realize that
none of us are any better than the other by reason
of proximity and circumstance and so of course Britain
and Russian and China took great losses and so of
course we should not discount the fact they took on
the greatest burdens.
Man the spin in this thread is too much.

wars to those who were getting kicked hard.

Joining the 1914-1918 war in 1916, and joing the 1939-1945 war in 1942 was nothing more than a sign of American appeasement and cowardice.
Today, Americans have a cheek to say that the British and French appeased Hitler, but we only appeased hiom until 1939, whereas the Americans appeased him until 1942. And even then, you only joined in the war because the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. That's why Churchill did nothing to stop the Japanese from bombing Pearl harbor even though he knew it was about to happen.

Cold war?...the cold war was a result of WW2 and, to be frank was a non-starter, neither country would seriously attack either, america, russia and the UK all had nukes so nothing would have happened.

nobody won anything in the cold war, they all had their nukes aimed at each other, it was all a show of military might, it was a big bluff.
