Been doing some maths, have ya?

I certainly have. And I didn't use a calculator.

Pretty horrific numbers for those nations that fought England's battles for her.

89% of British fatalities were through actual combat and 86% of Denmark's. Only 83% of Canada's and a poxy 82% of America's casualties were through actual combat. Had the reverse been true you'd have been boasting.

Your welcome, by the way
"You're", not "your."

Hilarious... You can't even speak the language that your nation developed.

Those numbers are specifically related to the poor leadership and myriad of strategic and tactical errors of the Brit commanders.

Had a Canadian been in charge, the fatalities would have been in the single digits.

... But, then again, the USA and Canada did stave-off the over throw of your wee island.

I can speak it better than you. That's why my spelling and grammar have been absolutely perfect.

So why weren't the Canadian casualties in single digits?

Canadians and Americans don't have Berlin just 683 miles from either of their nations' capitals as Britain has. How different things would have been had Germany been on your doorstep rather than ours.

And each time the Colonials came to your rescue. Then after WW1, European screwups laid the foundations for WW2 with the Versailles Treaty.

Wee Island Syndrome.

It's the eighth largest island in the world, which is about to overtake France as the world's fifth-largest economy, which has the EU's most powerful military and is, geostrategically, the second-most important nation on the planet.

As for Canada, you're just America's hat.

Awesome sauce. Do we know who snagged the 2,000,000 spot?

The Versailles Treaty was actually letting Germany off lightly compared to what Germany had planned for Britain and France had she won the war.

a rather large dose of Canadian envy.

I couldn't agree with you more.

I'll remind you again that I didn't start this.

So it's okay to attack Denmark and, through Denmark, generalise about all 700-odd million Europeans, but it's not okay for a European to attack Canada in any way, shape or form?

Geez, now he's being all self-righteous all of a sudden about generalizing a large group of people. I'm not certain if that's a symptom of Wee Island Syndrome or not.

I should probably look that up.

I'll be back.

Maybe you should be looking at why Canadians seem good at dishing it out but not taking it.

I think I've got every right to attack the "Euroweenies" comment and point out that many European countries fought valiantly in the War in Afghanistan and still do, long after Canada pulled out.

Are you daft? I already told you, it was sheer, unadulterated British incompetence.

Sheesh!... How many times do I have to tell you?

Canadians and Americans don't have Berlin just 683 miles from their nation's capital as Britain as. How different things would have been had Germany been on your doorstep rather than ours.

That is the most pathetic excuse I have ever heard.. That's right up there with 'an entire army snuck up on us in Hong Kong whilst we weren't looking'
