“I am pleased to be able to continue my work as a senator on behalf of the people of Saskatchewan and others who reach out to their representatives,” Wallin wrote in a short emailed statement Thursday.

“At present I am reviewing the activities, the debates and the legislation discussed by the Senate during my absence,” Wallin wrote after the Star sent her questions about the work she was doing now that her office is back up and running.

He was given an unconditional discharge so he wouldn't have a record. I guess you never heard of Sven Robinson?


As for Wallin, the ONLY reason she's back at work is because the current Parliament has been dissolved. She hasn't been charged, yet, because the Crown just received the investigation report from the RCMP at the end of August. From what I can tell, the RCMP have every intention of bringing the charges against her, they're just waiting on the Crown to peruse the report for approval.
