The U.S. women's gymnastics team features two Black women, a Hispanic woman, a northern European White woman, and an Asian woman.

This PROVES that DEI puts unqualified people into positions based on race. They only won gold!

If the team had been all qualified White women (as of course it should be), they woulda won the platinum medal, or maybe the diamond medal! Or even the dilithium medal!

Ooooo sa-wing and a miss. Let's take a different angle on this. Let's say your favourite NFL team decided to bring in a Native American to be the QB and he was only given the position in the name of DEI and not because of any particular skill or talent at the position or football in general, would that be "progressive"? Would you be happy about it? Would you feel properly "represented" even though he sucked?
Now if he earned that spot because of his QB skills and ability in college that would be entirely different.

Jim Thorpe?

Hell, I'm old enough to remember when "Black men can't play quarterback" was a thing.

Thorpe played running back . And yes the blacks were not smart enough until Warren Moon proved otherwise .
