Interesting, but I'd suggest being deeply skeptical of anything associated with Graham Hancock.
Graham Hancock’s Egyptology
Wow love this thread! Makes us feel like we're so small in the universe. Unfathomable really. Always did love the mysteries of deep space.
Good evening to you Dexter,
Quite amassing the world it was then around 10,450 BCE, the connection between earths civilization and space as well the buildings (pyramids) on earth pointing and connected to the stars. Good brain food…………….
By the way I am seriously considering the telescope MEADE EXT 105 AT
MSRP $1349 on sale for $896 + tax plus all the must accessories $550 and I am set to go, this particular unit is able to look Andromeda and other constellations. I think I will have some fun.
Thanks for the advice way back.
Sorry. The 6" ETX is a bit more money but worth every penny. It will be my next telescope within the next two months.
Thanks Socrates, I always was in awe about the universe. I used to look at the stars as a young child and loved it so much then and still do now. Amazing and so very interesting!
Many thanks Juan and good day to you, I got the ETX-60-AT, I got it 1 week ego from a friend for a good price I was shocked to see that this little gem is worth $895 cnd on sale. (Did not pay that much) always as you know used items sell for cheaper. I love space; this little extraterrestrial visual devise will help me spend some quality time gazing at the mega cosmos. Many thanks again enjoy the havens.;-)
$200, that is cheap and the unit is in good condition.
Sorry. I thought you implied you were going to spend up to a couple thousand for a telescope. I probably read it wrong. The Meade ETX line are good telescopes but you have to remember that the ETX60 is a two and a half inch scope that is naturally obstructed by the secondary mirror so it's light gathering is something less than two and a half inches. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy your telescope.
