Now to the good part. Which conflict was Canada involved in 1990. Bosnia hadn't started yet and the Gulf War was not combat for troops so maybe you just have the date wrong. You may not have herd of the military/industrial complex and the dangers it poses to your own freedom. The industrial complex used advertising as it brain-washing tool for the masses, no big secret there and the methods are somewhat limited so if you know what to look for they stand out like a sore thumb. The Military wing is no different and it also contains lots of brain-washing as you are turning civilians and their respect for civil law into something that can kill without remorse. In this case it is 'hate Muslims' and the training is pretty complete as Israel is the one writing the playbook of how to turn citizens into soldiers and they had lots of time to practice and perfect that technique in the 20 years that Gaza was under military occupation (1967-1987) and that was training soldiers rather than containing a mortal enemy. Training that includes willingly targeting women and kids as a for of punishment for the men in the area. It also creates a bond between soldiers that is slightly less than 'bikers'.
What the military doesn't do is undo the hate training when the person steps out of the military and back into civilian life so that x-soldier has the same hates as when he was packing a weapon. This forum has enough x-servicemen that it is easy to show all of them have the same hatred for Muslims so you are as big a victim in the war as the ones your fought against. Coply and CS are x-military and they still hate Muslims although they probably have little actual contact with them so that will never change, nor will it for you.
Hatred is a trained responce and fixing it is just as easy. Right now you cheer with glee if a 2 year old is killed by any method, targeted bombing by the IDF is certainly quite fine in your world. Your military training is who you can thank for that, you post a pic that is supposed to be you hugging something live so you make it a chicken. It should have been a 2 year old Muslim infant and it should be for longer than the chicken was hugged, if it was the bombed child you wouldn't have been cheering if your defects are not childhood based.
Miko Peled served in the IDF and was raised in a military family so he got all the training you did and much more. His mother made the difference with him being able to break the hatred chain, it also shows how that was done, you aren't at that level and none of the x-military here is at that same level either, he is either smarter or he got material you guys never did.

If you have the balls I can tell you where you could find his nearest living relative. Get a current calender and look up the Goose Lake Stampede. At the end of the program (Calgary Stampede stock come from my neck of the woods) there should be a offer to jump on a bareback horse while it is cornered by the normal riders and clowns so it is quite safe, you would have a set of willies that would last a week.
At that point thing might go 'badly', anything prior is 'not so bad'. Since this is a life learning experience stick to the cornered horse and let me and my faithful tire go and entertain 'bad' and we'll both get home for supper. and a haircut is nothing to write home about.
