Thyssen was/is a huge multinational. So what? Not only do I hold stock in ThyssenKrupp, I work for them. Hundreds of thousands of people hold stock, trade stock, buy stock in all sorts of companies. People work for companies that trade internationally. They can not be help responsible for the owners actions, or who he supports with his profits.
