Coming to a School Locker Room Near You

Governor Schwarzenegger has signed into the law the highly controversial SB 777 (Kuehl) that will permit transgender students to enter the locker rooms and restrooms of the gender with which they identify.
Under the guise of preventing discrimination and bias against homosexuals, transgenders and other sexual variants, SB 777 will force innocent school children to accept alternative lifestyles.
“We are shocked and appalled that the governor has blatantly attacked traditional family values in California,” stated Karen England, Executive Director of Capitol Resource Institute. “With this decision, Governor Schwarzenegger has told parents that their values are irrelevant. Many parents will have no choice but to pull their children out of the public schools that have now become sexualized indoctrination centers.”
“SB 777 will result in reverse discrimination against students with religious and traditional family values,” stated Meredith Turney, Legislative Liaison for Capitol Resource Institute. “These students have lost their voice as the direct result of Governor Schwarzenegger’s unbelievable decision. The terms ‘mom and dad’ or ‘husband and wife’ could promote discrimination against homosexuals if a same-sex couple is not also featured,” continued Turney. ” Parents want the assurance that when their children go to school they will learn the fundamentals of reading, writing and arithmetic-not social indoctrination regarding alternative sexual lifestyles. Now that SB 777 is law, schools will in fact become indoctrination centers for sexual experimentation.”
“We had hoped that the governor would once again veto this outrageous legislation but he obviously decided to side with the out-of-touch extremists that control the legislature. This law does not reflect the true values of the average Californian,” stated England. “True leadership means standing up for what is true and right. Governor Schwarzenegger has shown no such leadership on an issue that is vital to the future of our state. Instead, he has bowed to the pressure of the powerful homosexual lobby.”
“School boys have always made excuses to get into girls locker rooms–now they won’t need any because it will be a state-sanctioned policy,” stated England.

There was a time in this same America when Baptist congregations were recessed early so good christian traditional families could attend public lynchings.....

On one hand...hanging negroes was a part of traditional family values....and the United States has never brought resolution to its willingness to regard non-whites as anything but chattels so it shouldn't surprise anyone what the next measure of "traditional family values" is claimed as..

If someone identifies as a woman, but is built like a man, it is no different then having a large mole to them.

They would be as equally uncomfortable undressing infront of young men as a modest young lady would. You know why? Because they see themselves as young ladies.

Regardless of how they think, they are still built like a man/boy. But given the way they identify themselves, I would think that a 3rd washroom would be a better option.

Some schools have done that, because transgendered isn't the only sticky issue. You also have the problem with gay kids being attacked for being in the bathroom and possibly 'peeking' etc. As well, transgendered girls heading into the boys' bathroom goes over really bad, but the girls don't necessarily want them in their bathroom either.

When the wife and I worked at an adult forum, you wouldn't believe the intolerance we saw towords transgendered folk...

I once got into a debate about whether or not a man could be a lesbian if he had a sex change or not...

I ended up proving that the term lesbian can be applied to men as well as women, because it is derived from the place noun "Lesbos", the birth place of lebianism. I was inhabited by both men and women. lmao...

I find it all to humourous that there are those that would see a multitude of people suffer, in near agony, because they feel their god can't screw up. They preach of love and peace and yet propogate and subborn intolerance, abuse and violence, by the virtue of infaliblity, of their god.

Incredibly misguided and cruel.

I can even begin to imagine how ackward and uncomfortable it must be to feel alien in your own skin. To have people point and tell you, it's all in your head and that you are an abomination, is just about as low one can get.

As if being a student in todays over stimulated highschool system isn't enough, having the guts and courage to standout, isn't about positive attention. No one in there right mind would do such a thing for simple attention of any kind...they come out because they are driven by their own internal spirit to be free to be just who they feel they are.

True there is much cruelty out there I also find there is more tolerance. Another forum I post in has quite the mix of people. We have quite a few homosexuals. We also have a lot of young people albeit they are not your average as most of them would be considered "gifted". The thing I find most interesting is when new arrivals attack the homosexual life style these kids are quick to defend it although most are hetero or bi. It quickly changes the new comers attitude. Even if they fake it to be accepted I think it has an impact.

Now this wouldn't be some lone idiot.. no one fakes being a transgender to see boobies.

What will be more likely is some football jock put up on a prank, with the blessings of his buddies, to throw on a salvation army dress and costume make up and just wander into the girls washroom during showers as an initiation, or just for a laugh with his buddies.

I think before being labelled transgenders, they should probably be checked out by a shrink first, to make sure that they are serious and they really are transgendered.

Now this wouldn't be some lone idiot.. no one fakes being a transgender to see boobies.

What will be more likely is some football jock put up on a prank, with the blessings of his buddies, to throw on a salvation army dress and costume make up and just wander into the girls washroom during showers as an initiation, or just for a laugh with his buddies.

I think before being labelled trans-genders, they should probably be checked out by a shrink first, to make sure that they are serious and they really are transgendered.

I think this scenario is the most likely too. And honestly how many times could it happen? Not many. Besides the girls would likely see the humour here too. We had a tranny living in my building for a few years. They don't switch back and forth so they would be well known in the school already making it a moot point.

I don't know what the showers are like in most new schools but the girl's shower stalls are usually stand-alone showers as opposed to "herd" showers. So the likelihood of much "nakedness" being available to the eye would be small.

We are still pretty puritanical about our bodies in large public groups.
