Actually, many Christians have given a big "Amen" to this post, on many sites.

When Moses disobeyed God and struck the rock twice, God charged him with unbelief. Num 20:12. when the children of Israel disobeyed, they were not allowed to ENTER the Promised Land, because, of unbelief. Heb 3:19. Jesus could not do many works in Nazareth, because of their unbelief. Heb 3:12 says, that unbelief comes out of an EVIL heart. "...he that believeth not God, hath made him a liar." 1 John 5:10.

God links rebellion and unbelief.

But, Roms 16:26 refers to the "obedience of faith."

"By faith Abraham...obeyed.

Faith, is, always, obedient to the Word of God.

Jesus said, "Not every one that saith, Lord, Lord, shall ENTER into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven.

MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? ("Christians" do works in His name.)

And then will I profess to them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (lawlessness). Mt 7:21-23.

The flip side is "And hereby we do know that we know Him, IF we keep His commandments. He that saith, I KNOW HIM, and keepeth not His commandments, is a LIAR and the truth is not in him." 1 John 2:3,4.

How do we know that we love Him?

Jesus said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." John 14:15.

"And THIS is love, that we walk after His commandments." 2 John 6

When He gave us the "Two Greatest Commandments," he was quoting the law. Deut 6:5; Lev 19:18. These two are a summation of The Ten.

If you love the Lord, supremely, you will not worship or bow down to other gods, take His name in vain, or, profane His holy day (the seventh day Sabbath: Gen 2:2,3; Ex 20:8-11 Isa 58:13).

If you love your neighbour as yourself, you will honor your parents, do no murder, commit adultery, steal, bear false witness or covet.

"By THIS we know that we love the children of God (#2), when we love God (#1) and keep His commandments: and his commandments are not grievous." 1 John 5:2,3.

Not to those who are under the New Covenant, and have His Covenant engraved upon their hearts and minds. Jer 31:31-34; Heb 8:10.

James 2:10,11 says, that if we break one of the commandments, we become transgressors of His law and are guilty of breaking all of them.

God charges the "Mother of harlots," with sin, which, is the "transgression of the law," 1 John 3:4, and "iniquity," which is lawlessness.

The "Mother of harlots does not keep His commandments - especially the 2nd, concerning graven images, and the fourth, referring to the Sabbath. She is disobedient and rebellious.

The Bride of Christ keeps His commandments, because she is obedient to His Word:

"And the dragon (Satan) was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Rev 12:17

"Here is the patience of the SAINTS: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Rev 14:12.

The Apostle John connects keeping His commandments with entering Heaven:

"Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have RIGHT to the tree of life, AND MAY ENTER IN through the gates into the city." Rev 22:14.

If He is Lord, obey His Word.

Herald, I have a friend who is Jesus only believer. He insists that I should be baptized in the name of Jesus only.
I say, Jesus is God, God is Jesus and the Holy Spirit is God, I mean does it matter?

Of course he said yes, and would argue the point as if i were going to hell if I didn't comply with his understanding of it.

You are doing something similar to that because of your understanding, you suppose that everyone should have the same view as you.

I'm telling you in all kindness, that God is greater that what we give Him credit for.

We can not box God up into a box of our own making.

God looks at the heart first before He looks at our works.
If He finds a place there, than the works done by you will indicate it.

Love is above all things is God's design.

"Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; so that the man of God may be perfect, fully furnished for every good work." 2 Tim 3:16.

"But be ye doers of the Word, and not hearers, only, deceiving your own selves." Ja 1:22.

We are to tremble at His Word: "...but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and contrite in spirit, and trembleth at my Word." Isa 66:2.

"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God...and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us." John 1

"And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God." Rev 19:13.

Those are not my words, but His.

The Scripture comes from the very mouth of God - His expired Word, from Genesis-Revelation.

When we teach and preach, we are to preach and teach ALL of His Word.

I agree that it is the inspired word of God. Inspired, meaning that God has proof read, if you will, the whole of what the bible and has approved it as written and how it was put together to what is the present day bible.

All the words in the bible are man originated words but inspired.
Lets look at the book of Job for instance, the book of Job has man talking up until chapter 33 of which then you see God responding.
Job 33:2 Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

Another area God has allowed the Serpent to speak: Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

What am I saying Herald is that God has allowed a contrast of things in His word by where we may be able to see, and to place things together in order for us to gather understanding.

I will give you one verse and would you explain why it is written that way and to what it alludes to?
Job 3:6 As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.
Questions on the above verse:
1. What night is it speaking of?
2. And if night, why let darkness seize it?
3. Why let it not be joined unto the days, the months and the year?

That is in the Old Testament and now one from the New: Rev 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
Questions on the above verse:
Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Question, in what tense is this written in? Past, present or future?

The reason for the verses and the questions is to show that there is more to just quoting verses.
Verses themselves mean nothing unless the spiritual message is extrapolated from it.
And to do that, the Holy Spirit is involved.

In the Greek, 2 Tim 3:16 says, "Every Scripture is God-breathed..." That is expired from His mouth. They do not originate from man - they originate from Almighty God.

I think, that, we have covered this subject, and should stay focused, and not wander off into other subjects.

Well, you didn't get my drift.

Perhaps at another time.

Muhammad (dismissed by Dr. Kastein as "a half-educated Bedouin"), like Saul on the road to
Damascus, had a vision of God. His teaching in many ways resembled that of Jesus. He held Jesus to have
been, like Abraham and Moses, a prophet of God (not the Messiah). He regarded himself as the successor of
Moses and Jesus and as the prophet of God, whom he called Allah. There was but one God, Allah, the creator
of mankind, and Allah was not the tribal god of the Arabs, but the God of all men.
This religion, like Christianity, taught no hatred of other religions. Muhammad showed only reverence
for Jesus and his mother (who are both the subjects of profane derision in Talmudic literature).
However, Muhammad held the Jews to be a destructive force, self-dedicated. The Koran says of them,
"Oft as they kindle a beacon fire for war, shall God quench it. And their aim will be to abet disorder on the earth; but God
loveth not the abettors of disorder ". All down the centuries the wisest men spoke thus of the tribal creed and the
sect, until the Twentieth Century of our era, when public discussion of this question was virtually suppressed.
Thus was Islam born, and it spread over the meridianal parts of the known
[75] world as Christianity spread over the West and Buddhism, earlier, over the East. Great streams began to
move, as if towards a confluence at some distant day, for these universal religions are in no major tenet as oil
and water, and in the repudiation of master-racehood and the destructive idea they agree.
Christianity and Islam spread out and embraced great masses of mankind; the impulse that moved in
men became clear. Far behind these universal religions lay Judaism, in its tribal enclosure, jealously guarded
by the inner sect.
In the Twentieth Century this powerful sect was able to bring the masses of Christendom and Islam to
the verge of destructive battle with each other. If the present generation sees that clash, the spectacle will be
that of one great universal religion contending with another for the purpose of setting up the creed of the
"master-race". pg 61 D. REED :: The Controversy of Zion
