The labour minister has prepared legislation to put 2,800 workers back on the job, and the union has rejected CN's request for a voluntary return.

Beav you kill me.

The CN workers already make a great deal of money. This strike wasn't even sactioned by the International head. The Corporate clowns you hate so much, won't even feel the effects of this, us lil guys on the ground, we will.

Like the Imperial Oil bulletin stating that they are suffering an oil shortage because shipping lanes are frozen and the winter alternate ruote, rail, isn't moving right now.

I have a special order of Prism Stainless somewhere between here and somewhere, sitting in a seatainer, that isn't likely going anywhere soon. I likely won't be able to finish the job on time, without causing me, my guys and subsiquently their families some stress. Or if I choose not to, it will cause me some financial stress, as it's for a penalty job(that means there is a deadline, if I fail to meet it, it costs me, for anyone who cares).

So lets all thank the CN union for filling their pockets, and raising the rates, while we at the ass end, suffer the most, so they can.

bumped for beav...

So you got two avenues of complaint the filthy rich owners or the working class and you jump on the weakest, maybe if you went for the big fish once in a while I could cry for you which I do anyway, but where labour versus management I don't cross the line, ever, for no reason, till death do us part.Phone CN and tell them to cough up, the head office is in the States now anyway I think. And if it was a state owned railway like it still should be we wouldn't be haveing this problem.

PS: do you have a recipe for field mice, they are on the micmak diet but I cant find a recipe, they sound like they would taste like squirille, I have a problem with mice at my other place and rather than continue to throw them away I'm going to eatum they are nice fat little white bellied jobs.

Thanx beav, I've been waiting with baited breath for your reply, lol.

But you nullified any outrage, lol.

I understand your position and I fully respect your solidarity, hey I live by a code, I can't fault you for having one of your own, it's honourable. Miss placed in my opinion, but hey, if we were all the same, the world would suck.

My steel guy has been on the horn with the importer and customes guys, everyday since last week. It's supposed to be here by tomorrow. It was supposed to be here last Monday, lol. If I get it tomorrow, I should make out ok, if not, I might be absent for awhile. Living on a cot in the shop, lol. If that happens beav, I'll be having sweet dreams of trapping and skinning beavers as a Kid with my Grandad. lmao.

OK, as for cooking mice/rats...

The best and simplest way is to just stick a skewer in their arse and roast them on a fire and eatem whole. You can gut them first if you want, but there really is no need. Same with skinning, why bother, just burn it off.

Thanks for the cooking tip, you'll make out on the job, I'll pray for you, I'm picking up stuff off Sanctus.
