Is it just me or is it that while china is 'allied ' to North Korea, that's it has friendlier relations with South Korea and its allies? Same with Russia?
And another question, if you can be allied with one nation, and on friendlier terms with its enemies, then which is more valuable for a nation: to have allies, or to have friends?
Seems to me that South Korea is benefitting more from China's friendly relations than North Korea is from its alliance.
