Years ago the NHL used to make a big deal out of the Lady Byng Trophy but you don't hear of it anymore.

Sure it's awarded. Seems to be done more in secret now. It's not harder to find a gentleman out there - just tough to find one who'll admit to it. Really, the fights are a marketing gimmick. Gotta have butts in expensive seats to pay those huge salaries and buy the advertisers' product. Oh how I liked the good ol' days.
