Argos also have a cannon.

They also have 5 people running with 5 flags up and back on the field with flags that spell A-R-G-O-S. Until last year the Letters were visible on both sides of the flag so one side of the stadium saw S-O-G-R-A. People used to cheer that. It was kind of fun. Then they replaced one half of the flag with a generic Argos logo and took away the fun.
They wanted to make sure nobody had fun, lest it hurt the feels of the asshole community.

Next year the Argos are farming out 3 of their home games to Saskatchewan, Winnipeg and Hamilton respectively. I think they decided to do this to accommodate the stupid soccer tournament. I would have preferred they just played the 9 home games in the second half of the season. I likely will not renew my season tickets. I was leaning that way anyways (was also leaning last year but got caught up in grey cup fever) but I'm not renewing for 6 games.

Argos are a bit like the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Everyone who goes seems to have a good time.

It's past the point of common sense as far as their 2026 schedule goes and I think they will see a significant drop in season ticket holder numbers. Flip side of that is you can always buy a game day ticket for the games you want to see.

34.9 fantasy points for Dustin Crum. I thought they might go to Matt Shiltz to start the second half but Bobby the Brain Dyce stood by his men.

There is not going to be a crossover unless it is East going west which could happen.

Far from a dirty play imo is now being described as a head shot for the hit C. J. Reavis put on Zach Collaros yesterday. No doubt they will kick him out of the league. If I heard right Bombers had their home town man Bradbury for the replay official and that wasn't the only call that went their way. I saw it as a clean hit.

I like Chris Streveler but the Bombers are done without Zach. Mike O'Shea might want to listen to offers while there still might be some with his contract up at the end of the year. It was a real good run while it lasted.

Didn't take that much to beat the 13 points the Bombers put up but Riders got the win and they don't go back and ask how. Almost certain they will make the playoffs now however Trevor Harris is still struggling to move the ball. To his credit he has only missed one game but there is no future with him as the starter although he would be a great #2. We'll see how it goes vs Montreal.

That definitely was a clean hit on Collaris. Just as Reavis dove for a low tackle Collaris dropped down. Reavis' chinguard caught the shoulder pad cranking his head into Collaris.

After a double or nothing on last week's game I'm up $200. I doubt he'll go triple on Oct 17th

Payday of the week was with Edmonton beating Calgary. It was hovering in the 3.0 for the win range. Elks have a couple of big games against the Riders that might be the difference in their season. Nice to get the win in front of the best crowd of the year as well.

Milt Steagall might also want to defer to actual doctors before voicing opinion on Collaros never playing another game. I doubt it was one of the top 50 hits ZC has taken although he surely lost his wind for a second or two. He did jog off the field. The real problem is the Winnipeg O line.

I was there when Calvillo was permanently sidelined. My daughter and I meet him after the game. He was fuuuuuucked.

The hit on Collaros was fuck all. Everybody in the stadium heard the smack when Anothony was hit, and everyone was in horror. Sad day.

I'll dig up the photos.

Yep. Every hit except the one you deem the worst is insignificant.

Seems odd to see the RedBlacks who beat BC last week paying 4.5 to beat them again this week. BC is listed at 1.25 to win. To me Ottawa is a good bet on this one. 8.5 points for those looking for a safer play paying 1.83.

Big odds for Montreal playing in Regina as well. Riders luck out by not getting Davis Alexander at QB for the Als but sounds like they will get some MBT who they will blitz the pants off. Montreal needs the win more than the Riders. As long as the team is winning they won't make a change but it really wouldn't hurt to give Jake Maier the start to preserve Harris for the playoffs. Especially since Harris has not been putting up big numbers.

Winnipeg calling Collaros out with a head injury makes me think he broke his ribs. Hamilton -6.5 points should cover.

Argos -3.5 at home vs the Elks is as safe as it gets. It'll be a Fajardo miracle if it goes the other way.
