Issac did well in his first series. Got us out from under the goal posts. Looked loose and prepared. His passes were money shots..........the last one was just a step too far for Evans. Esks 2 and out on their first kick at the ball.

Brett connects on a 49-yarder in our second series to put 3 on the board.

Hoping that the Lions will defeat the stumps later today is not an option I wish to entertain so best we control our own destiny. Give it all you got guys. Get behind Issac and let him have the chances he needs to be successful. Contain the Edmonton offense on every play. DO NOT COMMIT SELFISH PENALTIES. Pull together and play as the successful unit you have proven to be all season long. And have a great time out there today.

So............after we fail to cross the line on 3rd and inches????............Esks get ball back and on their very first play AC Leonard decks Kilgore for a 20 yard loss......Esks unable to get the first D and forced to kick............thiggy returns the ball to the 50 but it gets called back due to a holding penalty............leaving us on our own 5 yard line. Esks D-line giving us a tough time. To finish off the series, the Esks intercept a pass from Issac but...........there is a flag on the play............and it's a RP call on the pukes giving us back the ball. Maas is challenging the call.

And loses..............dud.........upshot we get the ball back on our won 25.

Hah, hah, hah.............Esks jump the line giving the Riders a first down after they were stalled at 3rd and 2.

Brett misses on a 47-yard attempt ...............Esks run the ball out but are pinned at their own 9

Riders lead 10 zip at the end of the first half. Harker has acquitted himself well so far IMO - a couple of slip-ups and misses but considering the gravity of the game and it being his first time as pivot - not bad at all. Heck, to be leading at the half is something in itself for the comeback kids. Defense has done a fair job of keeping the Esks off the board...................mind you they ain't helping themselves with all the stupid penalties - most penalized team in the CFL...........sheesh you think Maas could get a handle on that.



Keep it up lads..............so far..................so good.
