Medlock finds the end zone - single point for the Bombers.....flag on the play...........holding Sk...........sheesh........:19 left in the half.............Powell powers his way to the Sk 50...............but time runs out and the score at half-time is 11 - 4 for the Blue and Gold. Could be better for our guys..................but it could also be a whole lot worse. Off to take my wee Rowan for walks to clear our heads before the sun goes down on Eagle Creek.
SK called for PI on Bombers 2 and 10 and gives them an easy 1rst D..............defence stops Harris after 2 yards on next play......but they allow a huge pass/reception play that puts the Bombers at our 25 for a 42 yard gain.
Zach can't find his guy in the end zone on 1rst and 10.................Demski gets them 9 but not the D..........3rd and 1..............and with Streveler in they get the D with ease...........Streveler stays in but is stopped short of the LOS by a great defensive play.........Streveler still in and connects with his receiver but they will have to bring in Medlock..........who puts another 3 points on the board for Winnipeg.

Streveler starts this series but fumbles the ball on the first play..............and there is a big fooforah over who got there hands on it first..........it appears that Streveler got lucky as it's Bombers ball and they get a 1rst D on the next play...........Collaros back in...............but fails to find his target on 1rst and 10 but are forced to 3rd and 2 after failing to get the next D. This musical chairs game of the Bombers with their QBs is really quite entertaining..............I wonder how it's playing out in the guy's heads.
After William Powell makes an outstanding catch for multiple yards................Cody gives up an interception to the Bombers who run through the Rider's like water through a sieve all the way to the SK 34
Streveler back in.............and is caught behind the LOS on the first play..........hands off to Harris on the next who is also caught behind the LOS for yet another loss of yards and the Bombers will be forced to punt.
Cody gets us a huge first D but sacrifices his body and takes a hit.... comes up limping a bit and thus ends the 3rd Q.
Harker comes in and is taken down at the 1 yard line after the Riders managed to march all the way up the field and into the red zone................well I do not have clue what the hell that play was designed to do cause all we did we see a QB stand there until he got tackled for a big loss...........WTF!.......................what frickin' balls up that was.........so now we are 3rd and lots of yards...........and with an injured SK player on the field who knows what's going to happen next..............sheesh.
After all that effort we have to settle for a FG.............thank heavens for Brett.......the 3 points draws us within a TD of tieing the Bombers and surely we have at least one in us.
Of course we need to ensure that the Bombers don't put any more points on the board............but no...............they just got a 44 yard completion..............then sacked Collaros on the next play........however, they are well within FG range
And just got even closer with another 6 yard gain ...........but on 3 and some the Bombers send Justin out who is good from the 32..........darn it.
Cody connects with Evans who takes the ball all the way to the Winnipeg 30 and we are within FG range but we need a TD on this series.
But once again...............Brett will be called out.................and he gets us back the 3 points at least.
Zach tries for the long ball on 2 and long and misses his target...........no points on that series.
Riders completely fool Bombers on kick return and Marshall gets us to the Winnipeg 35.................missed who got us up to the 27 for 2nd and inches...........Harker comes and gets us the D..............Cody back in.............just in time for the 3-minute warning and a commercial break.
