It looked really ugly in UHD. Check on the PVR. There is no way he didn't tear something.

TiCats will take Grey Cup this year.

Oh, and the fact that they did it w/out Jeremiah is even better...........knowing they can be contenders with both QBs is a big plus for any team.

WTH is UHD? I do not have a PVR...........I know, I know my neighbor Roy keeps bugging me about getting one.........it just isn't a priority for me. And truly, pete..............I do not want to see the injury, trust me.

I'm not counting out the Bombers.........yet. Actually, it is too early to count out any of them. Come mid-Sept, things will have started to really gel in the standings. Riders are going to the Western Semi-Final this year. I Believe.

Brendan Taman: Rain-shortened game wasn't a good look for Canadian Football League

It's Brendan trying to be relevant so take it for what it's worth

Yeah the Als were grumbling about it too in another article I read. Fact is that it was lightning strikes that had the officials call the game - not the rain. As the TSN crew at the field were making the announcement there were still lightning strikes in the background. It was for safety reasons and all members of the CFL and the CFLPA agreed with the decision.

BC Lions are in Winnipeg tonight to try their luck with the Blue Bombers. And who is at QB tonight...........none other than Iron Mike - all taped up and ready to go. Wonder if this is the night they get out of their bridesmaid status and actually win their 2nd - yep 2nd game of the regular season.

I'm on the sidelines for this one - just hoping we get to see some good football. BTW, Milt Stegall is really surprised to see Mike back too, pete. Not me, I knew if he had breath left in his body he would put it all the line.

Lions are on the move in this drive - no 2 and outs here.......they don't get a major but do get a 3-point convert and are down 7 to the Bombers about midway through the 2nd Q.

BC D holds Bombers to an attempted FG and Medlock missed ........still 10 - 6 with :53 to go in the first half.
Mike sacked on opening play of their drive and Whyte stopped just over the LOS......Bombers are going to have good field position and time still on the clock

BC gives up 2 and the Bombers lead by 6 points and have the all at their own 35 with :21 left..............and they elect to take the knee and end the half.

Well now that was really nifty.............Mike threw a pass to Duron who was behind him and Duron threw a 56- yarder to Burnam.......another good run...........and the Lions find the end zone on the next play. And with the convert the Lions take the lead by a point! Well done BC.

No major for the Blue and Gold ............Medlock will attempt a 32 yarder..........make that 37 yards after a time count violation.......and he makes good on this one..........Bomber's back in the lead by 2 points.

Andrew Harris just surpassed Ben Cahoon's record for the most yards from scrimmage to take first place in the history books. I believe it was 13,339 or close to that. Well done Andrew!

Good grief.............Sayles blocks the punt and returns the ball for an easy Blue and Gold TD. 29 - 13 Bombers.
