Hmmmmm If someone is willing to come forward publicly there might be some validity to the allegations and if there is hopefully others will show the same courage.
I'm on the road at the moment and wont be on long, but it has been my position that we can not throw people to the wolves without clear accusation. That appears to be what is happening now, and if it true Ghomeshi will watch his base of support collapse.

There's a little more to thuis than losing a job. He will likely lose his entire livelihood as a broadcaster. If its a bedroom issue its one thing. If he's a violent abusive a__hole that's another.

Optics matter with pretty much anyone these days. Everybody's lives are on social media. Granted it may be a bit more of an issue if you're 'personality' is basically the same as your job.
