This board needs some more true conservatives.

Yes it does, reading through the post here I see that high fives are flowing from a few with all the same views. It's shame to have a board with no depth. TORO watch your ass. it seems that all with apposing views disappear after a while. Looks like they can only take a bit of truth before they ban your forever.

Niceguy ... opposing views are more than welcome. I can take all the truth you can dish out, even if it is your own definition of truth. What I can't take is infantile behaviour. Name calling, personal attacks ... some days I feel like I've wandered into a kindergarten and am in charge of the sandbox. (If you've read my posts, you'll know kids aren't my favourite thing!)

Conservatives are welcome here. They may find themselves outnumbered, but not unwelcome. And we will all meet with others who hold widely differing views than our own. But isn't that why we come to these forums? Granted, most of the members here are centre to left leaning, but you'll find that outside the political threads everyone gets along very well.

Your criticism of the board policies (i.e. warning Toro about being banned) is a bit of a chickenshit way of doing things. If you don't agree with how any of us moderate, have the fortitude to speak directly to us. PM any one of us with your concerns and we will listen to your side of the issue. Believe it or not, we are reasonable people who freely offer our time to keep Canadian Content forum a good place to be. I have a lot more respect for a person who faces me squarely with their concerns.

And, as you see in the post, I did ban Toro. But the other mods disagreed with outright temporary ban because I had not given him a warning and approached me on it. I reversed the decision and changed it to a warning. We police ourselves to make sure no one gets banned in a fit of temper. It seems to be working well.

bluealberta, why would you be asking Reverend Blair if/why LadyC was banned from this site? Is he the Administrator? No, I am.

If you want to make claims or ask questions, do it on topic in the correct forum or PM me. Stop turning these threads into fights.

Hey, I was just wondering what she had done to get banned, because she was on the left of the spectrum where a lot of you on this forum reside.

You got your answer bluealberta from the administor of this site, now go back on topic.

Okey Dokey, Madam. There was a previous post that mentioned people getting banned, treated equally, etc. and I just wondered why.

To get on topic, with the liberals in charge of the country, is it any reason why Canadian politics is an embarassment. Sleaze and corruption usuall is embarassing.
