How do the Turks fit in it?

Most of the Kurds are part of and are occupied by Turkey. The Turks are also fighting the separatist Kurds right now (an uncomfortable situation for us as we are helping the Kurds but the Turks are our NATO allies). The Turks have visciosly crushed any separatist movements. They have committed genocides against the Kurds over the years but nothing matches the crushing of the Armenians, back in 1916 whern in excess of a million Armenians died. You are Turk or you are dead. There are no half measures from that quarter... and they want to joint the EU. Then again, so did the Serbs and Croats.

And that's because the Saudi and Turk help us against the Russsian. But they have other agenda's that have nothing to do with Russia.

What a cluster **** really.

The Kurds are going to take Canadian weapons, run away and join ISIS?

Not in this Universe! That happens in the one where the NDP keeps winning majority federal governments, back-to- back.

You'll have to excuse angstrom, he's an idiot.

It's like a sine wave. The Forces start to recover, the Liberals get back in power, the Forces end up flying combat aircraft, helicopters that have reached human retirement age. The Liberals are turfed, again and some recovery takes place.

Unfortunately, with each cycle, the Forces get smaller, weaker and they lose their continuity as the old veterans leave in disgust.
But the forces offices in Ottawa never shirnk . Why is that ?

Because the money is given to the generals, to do with it what they please. So they won't shrink their own. That's like giving yourself a pay decrease. Won't ever happen.

Geeez Gerryh, that took you a while! Welcome back to the forums.

I guess you haven't noticed but it's a pyramid scheme. Dose t matter how fast the pyramid is free falling. The ones at the top stay on top ;). My guess is as long as the states has the best military, we won't see much change in our reality.

In a Middle East reality of privet security companies. These people we hired to help fight ISIS, are just working for whoever pays the most.

Our training could benefit anyone, once we are done.
And the hired men look for a new job.

The Muddle East. Oil sands, shale oil, etc. present us with the opportunity to disengage from that shytehole, forever. Let the barbarians destroy each other.

But isn't that what Obama has generally done? Only to have the hole fester even more.

That isn't the way it works, the last 2 WW's saw Canada join in support of 'her friends'. Perhaps we should add a clause in there that makes it so 'our friends' have to be justified before asking us to join a military campaign that they have gotten themselves involved with.

I guess we might as well start here as your education on the subject is the first thing concerning the issue that is muddled. (and you are showing quite often it isn't the only subject you have adopted a slanted outlook as being the 'base') What would it take for you to admit that ISIS is 'your people' or you better hope they never come to the homeland if they gained as much territory as ISIS has in the last 18-14 months??
How about we start with the recent bombing of (yet another) hospital in Syria as being 'proof' that your version is incorrect? The facts are radar data showing A-10's were bombing the area (9 strike) during the time of the attack.

Adding more arms to the EU against Russia is not how you defuse a situation that involves one of their defense partners, at least not if you ever expect to have any 'foreign business contacts'.
Would you say Russia has pulled out of Syria when they removed the fighter jets that were vulnerable to shoulder fired missiles and replaced them with (more units than were removed) choppers equipped with radio jamming equipment?

The Saudi's are suppling the weapons. The Turks are buying the stolen Oil.

Was that before or after the Russian Suffered a direct hit to their HQ and lost everyone in charge?

Weapons supplied by the US and her EU cronies. Turkey is a US allie all the way to being a NATO member. Apparently NATO cannot/will not police their partners but they will try to police Nations that are not part of that selective group. Mostly the business of war, any war as long as it is held on foreign soil and lately, fought by foreigners using NATO arms.

I guess I missed that attack, got a link or a better reference?

Russian general Igor Sergun dies suddenly after being 'sent to Syria by Vladimir Putin to ask President Assad to step down' | Middle East | News | The Independent

Here is one, but it's not the one that says ISIS led the attack to kill him.

From all the information I've gathered. Saudi's backed ISIS attacked the Russia HQ and killed him

And Putin pulled out not long after ;)

The storie is not as easy to find now that it's not fresh

Your source is flawed. Thanks for stopping by.

'Mr Putin’s support for the Syrian regime has drawn international condemnation, with Russia’s claims it is targeting Isis and Islamist terrorist groups contradicted by evidence showing the majority of air strikes hitting anti-government rebels and civilians.'
