SleepinIn, I'm sorry, I don't mean to be annoying, but are you avoiding answering me? You're making me a little crazy, I'm not gonna lie.
ETA: But I guess you don't know any more about this sort of stuff than I do. I thought you might, I guess. I was under the impression there would be zero reason for Kris and his band to go on Ellen and sing Alright With Me (what else would they sing, after all?) unless this was tied in with promotion. Also, I can't see him doing radio concerts with no single to promote.
My feeling is that Jive needs to get some positive feedback on this song (like the Sophie challenge), first, so they can promote it to radio stations (because The Truth was a disappointment), but I think they do intend to.
Otherwise I would be really heartbroken. This is my favorite song on the CD and I always felt it could be a big hit. I think it can be, and Kris deserves it - and I'm sure he's willing to work for it to happen. I hate to see this guy who is so good, and his band, sinking into some kind of oblivion as a one-hit-wonder just because his stupid label won't spend a few bucks to send his song for adds or promote it. So I'm looking for signs that won't happen.
