Those Mario costumes ARE kinda creepy, LOL. But that's why they make me laugh!

Honestly, I don't really have an opinion on the promos. It is what it is. For once, I'm trying not to see conspiracy theories in something Idol related. I like the promos, I think they look really nice, and I do expect that there will be more.

Idol frustrates me no end, but the spots were well shot, and I agree I think there will be more. Now if at the end of the year we are still looking at the same 9 seconds of Kris..... I'm gonna be pissed.

Well, I'm patiently waiting for the day when it won't really matter what the Idol TV show thinks of Kris, i.e., because his career will be solid enough that it won't really matter one way or the other. I'd like very much for AWM to be a hit, also. That would make a huge difference. I'm not sure what the label is doing with it, but I hope they plan to treat it as something worth promoting. I think the fans are showing the label that they're supporting the song.

Looks like Lee's video is set to premiere next week. Wonder when or if the AWM video will be made.

That's a pretty fast turnaround for Lee's video isn't it?

Dear Kris. Make a video for AWM. Buy a HD camera..have Charles film it, make it yourself. I'll watch it. It will be awesome. Save a million dollars.

Also KRIS's video is HILARIOUS. I died watchin that. OMG. Sooo funny. I love it.

Just put that gatorade back in the dryer.. no probs.

Those were nice photos. I only saw them with that article though.

The article says they're the "best of" the photos, then I saw something from the venue on twitter that said they had all the pictures (though there wasn't a link). So I thought maybe the rest were posted somewhere. Anyhow, the venue has photos of past acts, so Kris's photos should be on there eventually.

This must be the organization that Kris and Andy are working with

I just heard Ellen will not be returning next season!!! I'm shocked, shocked, I tell you.

So Zeke (Kris's opener last night) is not bad for 15 years old.

So Crystal first single has been announced and it's a song called Hold On co-written by... Kara DioGuardi and Nickelback's Chad Kroeger. YUCK! WTH? Chad Kroeger (and his awful band) is on my list of "musicians I pretend don't exist". The only ones I think are worst are the Black Eyed Peas, pretty much.

MJ has a demo of the song, recorded by Kara, it's awfully blah. Also, Crystal is quite visibly unhappy about this.

Oh Crystal.. who did you piss off?

(Confession: I actually like nickelback....and their one song - so sue me.. :) LOL -- Kara.. though... again.. it's like a bad nightmare...argh!!!! Will the madness never end)

The song probably will suit Crystal's voice, but I just don't get why they don't let them promote their own music. It's hella frustrating. I'm happy for Lee getting to put out a song co-written by him.. but it also annoys me because no one else gets to do that for some reason.

Is Lee's single getting a bit of success? From what I've seen, it doesn't seem like it's working that much. It's still early, but we're less than two weeks away from his album release. Well, it's not that I think that Lee being involved in the writing of the song is the problem, it just didn't sound like a hit (starting with the title of the song, which is really lame) and the production is just not good. Of course, what do I know, I can't stand 95% of today's "hits".

(I forgive you SleepinIn for liking Nickelback, because I know that you still have awesome taste in music otherwise! Nickelback though? *shudders*)

It got a bunch of adds, (which you'd expect since it's an idol winner's first single) I don't really know how it's doing radio wise though - I think it's higher on the charts than AWM. I'm not a huge Lee fan so unless I trip over news I probably wouldn't know. LOL Not that I hate him or anything, but until he impresses me, I'm a little indifferent at the moment. I think it sold like 18,000 copies.. Is that bad or good? I don't remember what LLWD sold it's first week.

LOL - I make no apologies. :) I don't actually own any of their music I have to admit.
But I love this video.

and you have (well you don't but I do - :) ) to admire them for ignoring all the haters and just doing their own thing plus they help a lot of up and coming bands out. They also kind of took Daughtry under their wing, which I think helped Chris and band a lot with building a fanbase outside of Idol.

Chad discovered and promoted Faber Drive. Which I have to admire because their music (though you may not like it, either) is very different from Nickelback. I don't really like Nickelback's music, at all, but I don't think they deserve a lot of the hate. They get a lot of abuse and they're a very solid band.

Well, I don't hate them per se. I hate their insipid music and trivial lyrics and I can't stand Chad Kroeger's voice. Also, I dislike the fact that to the world outside of Canada, they kind of define Canadian music, since they're the most well-known band from here, while I think that they don't represent at all what Canadian music is really about. So, there's that.
