Damn! That's fast - no waiting for youtubes now. ;) I love that people were screaming the name of the song at them before they played it.. and he told them off for ruining the surprise. lol

Yeah, that made me laugh! I'm sure he was expecting it though, I'm sure he knows his fans enough to know that any piece of new material would not stay hidden for long!

He might be giving Cale a shout out for being nice to him at the interview he did with Kris, Plus Cale is cute.

Anyway Rickey was pretty good at angering the season 8 fans, I have to say he went all in on that one. Too bad season 9 sucked.

That article you posted on Kris prior to his winning was interesting eh? No negative comments. Funny how many felt compelled to post on every single article ever after he won that he couldn't sing. Hmmm.

I came here to post something and it completely went out of my head now. Hm. What was it? I don't remember.

I'm sitting here thinking I got only three songs last Monday. One of them, the 'short version.' And these people in Atlantic City got EPIC. I know I didn't go to a Kris Allen concert, at all. But it seems so UNFAIR, somehow. lol :hmph:

A nice thing I noticed. When Kris does a quiet song, people are pretty quiet. This is something I've noticed Jacob can't really get the crowd to do, when he sings a quiet ballad. Not sure why.

Not sure what I really think of Paper Heart yet. I have to hear it a few more times. I think it's catchy. It has those haunting minor chords. reminded me first of Springsteen and then of the Eagles.

People really liked Kris's opener, Chris Nathan. Looked him up and listened to a few things. I don't know...first impression: talented, not really the kind of voice I like. Definite improvement on Jason.

I loved the videos. Almost like being there.

I'm sure at least one of you has been reading, on the Borgata thread, on MJ's, that Kris is now supposed to go out on tour again when this one is over. "On tour with someone else," I think it said. (Wonder if he'll get to sing for the troops, before that? The other day, he sounded like it was tentative, now.)

I guess this means he won't be going into the studio as planned. Or -how do you interpret it?

I never really expected them to hit the studio this fall. I wanted it, but didn't expect it. I still want another single. Plus you know Kris and timing.. always gonna be later than he says. LOL

I've let go of the anger. If Kris is over it, then so am I. And he seems over it and yet when Rickey asks about it, clearly it did bother him at the time. So okay.. letting go.

Wonder who they're going on tour with this time? It must have just happened since before that Kris was talking studio in the fall.

Yes, that's what I thought too. I was quite sure they would try to tour again this fall. Touring is still where they can make money, so I never imagined they would stop so fast.

All the videos of Paper Heart were already taken down. Dawn, Sony worked fast!

I didn't think I would be home to watch the second show tonight, but I am! Hopefully, the ustream holds on tonight! Quality is still pretty awesome.

I still want an official version of Jacob's Red Piano song, and it's been on youtube forever.

Sometimes I don't really get angry, I just am over the person. It's not so much about what he did, one time, but more about what kind of person he is, to do that. I think he's a fool.

Remember when he went to the Idols tour, in NYC or NJ, and he wanted to get in to meet the Idols, and they wouldn't let him in? Because he had caused some kind of trouble in the past, or something? And he was kind of having a hissy fit? I don't know what all that was about, but it doesn't say a lot for him.

The current single is a weird deal. I don't know what's up with it. They made a video, so obviously they think it still has life in it. I want Kris to have a hit, dang it!

It's not in the interview itself, it's in the article Rickey posted on his blog about doing the interview.

Let me help you out.. This is what he wrote.

"Off camera, everyone was very nice to me, including Cale Mills, Kris’ musical director. Cale said that Rickey.org was an invaluable resource to him during Kris’ run on the show and he said that he wrote many comments in the blog defending Kris."

Musical director? But anyway.. lol

Damn I wish I had been at the Borgata!

(I posted a picture of Adam here but it came out huge. So I took it down. You can find it on MJ's. That purple outfit he wears, with the top hat and all - it's like from some Broadway show that doesn't exist but should.)
