I just went back to MJ's and ranted about why season 9 sucked, and threw in a large dollop of "it didn't help the credibility of the show to give all the air time to the runner up from the previous season." That ought to liven things up a bit. Actually, they usually just ignore me.

It's because you're sensible. ;)

I haven't watched the Season 9 interviews yet.. I think it's that interesting factor that's keeping me away.

Hedley's Perfect is being tested in Vegas. It's up in one of those song polls. Vote!

Have you guys noticed that the Adam concert thread seems to always go first on MJ's? Or does she alternate?

I think it's just a matter of who posts theirs first.

Oh, and happy 4thofJuly Ross!

mmkay and apparently The Idol tour is in Hamilton and not Toronto.. tomorrow. LMAO. Clearly I'm not paying the proper attention.

Row 17 floor seats are still available. I might not be the only one that missed the memo.

Seriously - though these tickets are WAY overpriced. Like $100 tickets? There's no wonder the tours in trouble.

Why are tickets 100 bucks? I paid 64 or something like that last year.

I think it's just a matter of who posts theirs first.

I thought that, too. But yesterday Kris had a noon radio gig so they posted his thread early, and it still came second. Hmm...

Oh, and happy 4thofJuly Ross!

Thanks!! I'll probably tweet some pics of the hometown parade.

Well it was 93, but that's close enough to 100 for me. Who knows, Canadian exchange, taxes, service charges? Way overpriced though.

Thanks!! I'll probably tweet some pics of the hometown parade.

Cool I'll look out for them.

Ha. Well, I noticed that it's at Copp's Coliseum, but I'm not sure where that is. I guess, Hamilton!

I think I paid 82 dollars total, but that included tax as well as some 14 dollar fee for something or other. I think I paid for some kind of "insurance" in case I couldn't make it, so I could get a refund.

The parade pics are nothing spectacular. Believe me. My mother did get to meet Senator Scott Brown, but I screwed up and didn't get a picture of it.

Seems you were actually right SleepinIn, they did cancel the Toronto date of the Idol tour, in addition to the Buffalo date (and some others if I remember correctly).

Stalking me on MJ's, eh? Haha. (<--SleepinIn, that is.)

Many, many photos of Justin. Some sort of give you different perspective.

Justin Gaston Photo - Celebuzz

There's one that seems to be a comparison of Justin to Kris. I've actually read things, before, that claimed they looked like each other. I don't get that.

I think it's bizarre this place has no AC. Like, ever? It's in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Okay, it has a roof that opens, but when it rains they can't open it. And what if it's 100 out, what does it matter if the roof opens?

ETA: I thought this was kind of interesting...

Ha! yes. lol Don't I always?

Many, many photos of Justin. Some sort of give you different perspective.

Justin seems kind of innocent, you know? I don't know, that's the impression I have of the guy. Justin however does have a drive for fame. He also looks like a deer in the headlights with Miley. I sort of have the feeling Miley was running that show. She's young but she's got a forceful personality.

Also Justin and Kris absolutely do not look like each other. Do Not.

This whole AC thing is a mystery to me. WTF? I live in Canada and we require AC in the summer. It's a given that every building has it.. unless you are getting married in a church in a pioneer village in which case - no air conditioning - I can testify to that. Everywhere else - air conditioning.

That article was interesting BTW. It's a very convoluted and complicated relationship between every involved in the show.

Justin doesn't seem like a bad guy at all but kind of a mystery. When you think about it, there are so many guys like him in Hollywood. I don't really see him being a music star. More like somebody on 90210. I guess time will tell about him. Sometimes he does seem kind of innocent and other times, knowing. Kind of hard to figure out.

The AC thing...I used to be in a community theatre that didn't have shows in the summer because there was no AC. But they started their season in September and sometimes it was as hot as summer. Unbearable, under the lights. Especially once when we did Broadway Bound, which takes place in the winter (think heavy overcoats and sweaters). Unbearable for the audience, too. The heat, I mean. lol (We also did childrens' theatre there in the summer. I will never forget the heat.)

Anyhow, it seems bizarre that a club like that has no AC, in this day and age. And in Arkansas, yet. Not exactly cool there in the summer, I'm sure. I can only think of one bar/restaurant (on Plum Island, near here) that has no AC or heat. It's only open in the summer, and it's mostly made up of big windows that open out and have screens. But it's not a nightclub.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

I just read the latest diatribe from KK on chick-fil-a and Kris. That lady is nutty.

Her bio kind of cracks me up though.

Where did you read that? Another examiner.com article? I wonder if this Kerry Kolsch is really just one person. Poison dart frogs? It's almost like a parody, isn't it?

Here's that place I was telling you about (Plum Island Grille). Just for the hell of it.

I will now have to post this on Top Idol.

That place has no need for AC -- it's walls move.

And it's all screened in. It faces the river marsh as you can see. The horseflies and some other kind of biting flies, greenbottle flies or something like that, are fierce, on Plum Island - and they mostly come from the marsh.

Anyhow...Kris seems to be killin' it in Arkansas and maybe seems to be going through his set kinda of fast.

Ouch. I wonder if they're related to the black flies they get up north? Biting flying critters are no fun.

No, I don't think they're like black flies. I was hiking in the White Mountains (NH) in black fly season once and they're small swarming flies. They bite like crazy but "Off" seems to work on them.

The greenheads are like these big things. There are a lot that are bigger than the one in that photo. Once when I stayed on Plum Island I saw this enormous one. I got a bite from one last year on the beach. The bites swell up and itch way worse than a mosquito bite.

Luckily, most of the beaches in Mass., NH, and Maine don't have them. They just seem to be around this five or ten mile line of beaches that are at the mouths of a couple of rivers, where there are a lot of marshes, in Essex county, Mass. (and only for a few weeks, I think).

I'm not much of a mountain hiker, by the way. Just that one time. (Oops. And once in California, also. I forgot.)

So it looks like Associated Content is now going to be part of Yahoo. According to the home page, people's articles will now reach millions of people, thanks to Yahoo.

Can this woman really just publish these attacks on Kris without any repercussions? Can you just write any kind of slander on that site?
