Well, Brian Mansfield in USA Today quoted Jon Bream's pan of Kris's show, and online, he linked to the review. I don't know why he did this. The other reviews were positive, and Kris is just starting his first tour. This could really hurt him at the box office. I'm confused about why Mansfield would post something that other people (like MJ) could easily spot as the work of a "butt-hurt" critic who can't get over Kris winning AI. Is Mansfield really that unsophisticated? Or is he just looking for blog hits? Very disappointed in him. I really can't forgive that he did that.

Why did he do it? Because he respects Bream? And Bream was being creamed? So how does reprinting the review help or change that? I guess I don't get that part. Are you saying he was showing support for Bream? I guess that comes under the heading of "two wrongs don't make a right," in my book.
I would have liked Mansfield to display some respect for Kris Allen. By not reprinting that garbage. Because Kris got creamed, too, didn't he? Was Mansfield suggesting we feel sorry for Jon Bream? Ha. He's a critic. If you dish it out you should be able to take it. He could hardly have thought people were going to throw roses at him when he headlined a review with, "Kris Allen Does Not Deserve 'Idol' Crown." The guy is nasty.
I love this song. You can tell Kris has a cold but he still sounds really nice.

I don't disagree with you - I would have liked Brian to not post an inaccurate review, but yeah I think he did it because he respects Bream. Whether or not Bream deserves respect when he's got his review pre-planned out I don't know. But my guess is.. NO.
I also wonder if Brian posted it because Kris fans were so annoyed by it. There were over 150 comments on that article, and it was a thread that included Lee and Crystal and the National Enquirer thingy. The comments were almost completely about Kris and the review. The moral of the story is don't mess with the Truth - the actual truth or the song called the Truth (comments at Kris site after adding Pat) - because it will piss off the Kris fan. Write a bad review, whatever, but don't make **** up.

First, I have to say while I still remember...I heard The Truth on the radio today!!! On Kiss108. (The pop station). At @ 2:30 this afternoon. It was fantastic until the Pat Monahan part. That's so jarring, as he has such a different voice -- yet people will probably assume it's Kris, suddenly sounding worse in the middle of the song. That just does not work. (The DJ announced it beforehand as sung by "your American Idol until recently, Kris Allen". No mention of Pat.)

Some of the Adamtard Glamberts claim this is a perfectly justified rating of course, not seeming to realize this is the same guy who gave the ridiculous Kris review the other night and actually called into a Minneapolis radio show to degrade Kris.
Do you believe this guy? He's on a vendetta of some kind. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but why does all this crap always seem to come out whenever Kris seems to be gaining new ground in his career? July is a long time. Okay a month, but that's a long time. Hopefully the spins pick up by then.
I still see them releasing a 3rd. Especially since his album is still in the 300,000 copies sold range. I think regardless of how TT does they'll release something else. Hopefully it's AWM, but god knows it could be WAOMF (which I love but.. but.. *facepalm*)
