Yeah, I watched Kris on MTV this morning. (There's something so weird about seeing Kris full-size and clear of my TV instead on tiny, blurry, and shaky on YouTube. lol) I forgot to turn on the TV until 11:20 so I missed almost all of it, probably. Then I had to leave before it was over. I saw the thing about him breaking up with Katy, and about the kids toilet papering his yard and his dad and the high-speed chase. lol. Was it possible for you guys to see it?

Today I went to this free concert at the mall (check out my twitpics. :smile:). It was okay. My friends were there. There were some local bands, and Mayday Parade and Anberlin. The bands had a lot of energy. Anberlin (a six man band) really put on a showy set, with the guys shredding like mad...I didn't mind them. The lead singer had a cold and that didn't help. Also saw some famous skaters and some crazy motocross and BMX riding.

Well, I read on that tavern's website that there's was a band scheduled to play that night, so maybe they were doing the pre-show for that band.

Hm, you're probably right, but I don't really get it. What would Kris Allen's band be doing playing a pre-show in Arkansas for another band (with a guy who isn't in the band)? Like, how would that come about? I'm just a curious cat, that's all. :)

I totally forgot that Kris sang When you Wish Upon a Star, I only remembered his I'm going to Disneyworld, LMAO.

I am banned from the extra scene but the rest of When I was 17 was pretty funny (shaky on youtube tho). Much Music airs this show though so Kris will be on Much. Take that MUCH!

Also.. Lifetime and Bring It Back tonight in Arkansas!!! Whoot - that is awesome.. also no guitar on CSA. :) I hope the people of Arkansas brought the cameras.

Kris did an Allison Krause cover. It's funny I just re-listened to his Itunes download where he talked about it.

I'm not sure if it's big rock music. It's not pop. It's like what you'd hear on the Warped Tour. They're a little different, they dress up kind of nicely and have kind of a look. Nice haircuts, slick looking.

Mayday Parade was a little more my style, though I'm not a huge fan. I actually probably enjoyed the people-watching, the motocross, and the skateboarding more than the bands.

Gee, I didn't think Kris sounded all that great on BIB. Do you think it's the sound at that concert? The last few concerts (San Antonio onward) I think he's sounded like his voice is a little strained, and he's off key sometimes. Usually I don't notice this.

Thanks ross for the Anberlin videos, I'll check them out (I'm still listening to the downloads of yesterday's radio show!).

I see that the girl who was cellcasting the Cook shows during the Declaration tour is going to cellcast Kris's show tomorrow.

Yeah, I heard that, but I thought it was because of the quality of the video. I'm listening to the radio show from yesterday and Kris sounds awesome!
