Canadian Idol Fans Watching American Idol

So is Lee DeWyze the new pocket idol? How come people don't constantly say, "He's so short!" (Well, I think I know why.)
I don't know who's going home. I'm going to take a wild guess and say, Lee, for the shock boot. (Don't blame me if you lose the pool!)

Okay, I watched the show earlier than I thought I would and caught up towards the end and with you here!
First, the judges are full of s**t. We're all aware that they had that crappy list to choose from. No, Simon, they didn't have thousand of choices. I thought they actually made the best out of that list. Nobody was going to come out and sing Flashdance, right?
Lee: I liked it. I didn't think he was any worse than other times when the judges pimped him to the heavens, so whatever.
Mike: I loved that song as a kid (and Free Willy too!). Mike was meh. It was too low or something, it didn't really build even with the back-up singers coming down the stairs.
Lee-Crystal: I started watching and I was like NO! Then it got to the louder part and I started to like it (ross, for me Kris does that song really closer to the movie version than what Lee and Crystal did, they kind of did a rock version of that song or something). I had to rewind it to watch again, and while Kris's version is so so much better, I liked Lee and Crystal, especially the end.
Casey: I see the hair fluffer got her job back tonight. And the goat was out in full force. I disliked that very much. Sorry. Casey will never get any love from me.
Crystal: I liked it okay. I wouldn't buy that though.
Mike-Casey: It was okay.
It's hard to tell who will be going home. I don't think it's going to be Lee though. I'd still say it's between Mike and Casey.
I want Lee to win. There I said it. I know Crystal is probably the most deserving one, but Lee is the only one I would consider buying music from.

It's funny. I'm catching up on my twitter timeline and I see others had the exact same reaction as me regarding Lee and Crystal's duet.

I hate Simon. People say he's this great mastermind, but he's just really really stupid and lazy.
For me, it wasn't a question of not wanting to say I liked it. I wanted to say I liked it. I just didn't.
You're right, Kris's version had a lot on common with the movie version. I guess it just wasn't a duet so this version reminded me of the movie more for that reason.
