LOL! Yes, it was clear enough!

I'm not watching just yet, I'm waiting for the Hanson stream to start. I guess they over-praised Lee again?

ETA: Okay, they did!

Okay... here we go.

Lee.

Can I just say...this guy sucks? I am so sick of listening to his goaty, lousy, off-key voice, murdering songs. The end. DNW.

Was that clear enough? :)

You took the words right out of my mouth. I don't know what the judges see in him..

Mike.

Mike does Shania.

Shania is right. "Make that connection" The ones that feel it the most end up making it (she said).

I don't know how you guys feel, but this (Mike's performance) is like I'm watching a scene from a musical. That is how I always feel about him, though. I actually don't think he connects in a very human way, though that may just be how I feel because he doesn't connect with me. He connects, in a way, but it's theatrical. Just my opinion.

I'm not a big fan of his voice, but he's smooth.

Awright, Risus! We're in agreement. I got to say, I like Lee, he seems pretty real. But not his singing.

Simon said Kris singing The Way You Look Tonight last year was "wet" also. I didn't realize he meant "feminine". He should use words people understand.

Yeah, they did. I actually thought he was slightly better last week than this week.

I was hoping for something more special. (Ellen is right, I always think he sounds like Bob Seger.) He sounded a lot better than Lee. For me, he has no charisma, but that was better than usual. And he has a real radio voice. As a performer, he kinda blows, but he could improve with time.

Crystal is next. So who's in the pimp spot? Siobhan? I haven't been paying attention. I missed the show opening.

Wow, very country.

That was really nice. Her voice is great. She'll never really be my style, totally, but she has taste. Real talent. She doesn't seem to be working at it. She's just great.

I suspected they wouldn't like this performance. I thought it was her best, actually.

She said it!! It wasn't as big as usual, but why is that bad?? It was subtle. Jesus I hate how these people think. Everything has to be big and bombastic. You can't have charm? That was flawless.

Do they mean this stuff or do they just pimp/depimp to make the competition more interesting?

From my twitter timeline, it seems nobody was a trainwreck, but all the contestants had people who loved them and people who didn't like them. Really divided opinions on everyone.

Well...I think they're just trying to make it a horserace (the judges, I mean).

Aaron was better, but his voice is not that great, no matter what. Maybe because of his age. I can see it improving as he grows older.

I don't know about Siobhan. I thought she started out good, but she doesn't really have control of her voice and she ends up going downhill instead of building as she goes along. And I think she's all show. In a way she and Crystal tonight were reminding me of Adam and Kris. And just like I preferred Kris last year, I preferred Crystal tonight.
