Yeah, these are good videos! They were posted by musicalhussy on the TWoP thread though, I cheated. Hope they'll have the Pigotts's set.

Yes, it was I and I alone who was behind the plan to make Kris Allen, a talentless, soulless, vile, non-showering creep who talks of nothing but pissing and music, the EIGHTH AMERICAN IDOL WINNER. And it worked.

I wish AI would let their singers be as organic, and natural as CI did. I don't know if it's the band, the producers or what. But wouldn't you rather see something like this over a group lip synch? I know I would.

Katie Stevens just jamming at the Dream House was so good and just came across as naturally talented. On Idol she was the pagent nightmare shilling for votes. If they wonder why viewers get frustrated...which they don't... more lasers!! more stairways! Fog!! Ke$ha!

Yes! I often say the same thing (I haven't watched he video yet, in fact, but it doesn't matter. I know what you mean.)
I also think the CI judges pick different people. Different types.
I still don't like Katie Stevens. Nothing will make me like her. But shilling for votes is probably natural when American Idol can change your whole life and make you Carrie Underwood. Canadian Idol probably can't, so really, less is on the line. In other words I can't blame her for begging for votes or trying to win. Win first, worry about being an artist later. Because it's a life-changer and you'll get rich. Even Ruben and Taylor are a lot richer than Katie Stevens.

Obviously the viewers don't give a flying squirrel for all that shizzle because they gave the crown to the guy who never went near a stairway.

They filmed tonight but I double-checked, their performance will air on Friday. Can't wait! Katie and Andrew will really be there tonight though.

I'll bet that Collingwood show was a blast. They should get together and do that type of show, and try to get bookings. They could vary the cast. It would be a great idea. Of course, they'd never make enough money with so many people in the show, would they?
I'm too tired or I'd attempt to discuss what's wrong with AI. Tonight I was driving home from somewhere and as I was driving, WWFM came on the radio and I thought again about this whole having-Adam-as-guest-star thing. I guess I can't help it. I think what makes me most mad or sad is that Kris had one thing I could point to as triumphant, indisputable -- the sale of his single. The fact that he was ahead of Adam in singles sales, and that people bought the song despite his NOT getting all the publicity. And how that guy worked to publicize that song.
Anyhow, I'm not canonizing him, just stating facts.
I would think that the people who are behind AI would consider it fantastic that their winner was also the winner in singles sales. Kinda proves why it matters to win AI. Or why you should vote for someone to win AI. But, apparently, they weren't satified that Adam was ahead only in album sales, they had to give him enough free publicity to make sure he could conceivably catch up to or pass Kris in singles sales. Their point being what?
(And they re-motivated the Glamberts to multiple-purchase it once again, to boot.)
I must say this a lot, but by endorsing Adam, they're just saying it doesn't matter if you don't win, or win, and if they're saying that, their own show is meaningless. No one is supposed to care who wins? Why watch? Why vote?
