Have you guys seen Slezak's interview with Lacey? As it often happened before, Michael makes me like some of them more than when they were on the show:

I disagreed though about her being "in the middle" on top 12 night. I really thought she was one of the worst.

um, Lacey was the worst that night. But I liked her a lot on Idolatry and she was actually pretty good on Letterman.

What's the rumor? That he might perform on AI? Well, he's huge, and he's Usher's protege.
I notice Idol doesn't book a lot of bands. They had No Doubt last year, but it was really the Gwen Stefani show. They don't seem to do much with bands, though, do they?
How about John Mayer? Can we have some adults who don't do dance music or r&b?

I don't hate Justin, I actually do think he's talented .. but I am just sick of seeing him everywhere. I really hated the overshadowing of the Idol "kids" last year with all the big name acts who didn't mentor them.
I'd rather they just stick to the mentor performing - whoever it is. And adults would be good although I didn't think Miley was bad.
I'm watching Paige on the dream house. I blame Kris for this. It's even more boring without him.

I think the cross promotion is an interesting thing. But they would actually need to have someone people would want to actually see. LOL On both sides. There is a severe lack of questions for Paige. If you have a question for her, it's almost a given it will get asked.

I don't blame Idol for putting as many stars as possible on the show. Also, I like seeing them perform. I don't expect that I'm going to be a fan of everyone who's on the show. It's kind of like watching Ed Sullivan when I was a kid. It's not that you loved all the acts, but it was a glimpse into what's popular in show business at the moment, and there's nothing like live acts.
To me it's fascinating to see people perform live who I would probably never see performing otherwise. Last year I remember reading a lot of posts (on TWoP, probably) that said the results show should be half an hour and most (or all) of the guest singers should be eliminated. I never got that. It's free entertainment from some of the biggest stars in the world. Why is that bad? Even if some of them suck, it's fun. For me it is, anyway. But I was also surprised that if people love a show they'd want there to be much less of it. I wouldn't mind if it was 90 minutes. I mean, I clear my calendar for Idol and I'm not eager for it to end so I can watch something else, so I don't care.

Paige is also a Hanson fan.
I need a shorter show. 2 hours is just too much for me to take in all at once. I loved the CI results show model. Short, sweet and to the point.

Krystal Bowersocks or whatever her name is seems to me to be the best
along with Big Mike and then Shabone but there is a long way to go.
Miley was ok but she doesn't have enough experience to be a mentor
at least not in my view.

That was just because they had no choice, I think. Not as much money. And not as many stars who wanted to appear on the show, maybe? Anyhow, AI is what it is, I don't mind free entertainment. Especially when I couldn't care less about the results, like this season.
Yeah, some others might break out and get better. It often happens. I can't see anyone topping Crystal but I guess it could happen. I like Casey as a singer, but as a performer he's like a lump.
Somebody posted a rumor on MJ's that Adam will be one of the acts added to the Kiss concert. That thing has about 10 acts or more and it's long. It's at the Comcast Center in Mansfield -- where my friends saw Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, etc., last summer. It's south of Boston, almost on the Cape (Cape Cod). It has an "indoor" section -- covered, with seats -- and an outdoor section -- some seats, and then a big lawn.
The rather nice thing, to my weird way of thinking, is that almost all the good seats to the concert are already sold out. (According to Kiss108.) So if Adam is added to the lineup in the future, the Glamberts can't invade and buy out the place. They can invade the lawn area, however.
