The moderator in the radio stations chat yesterday called AWM a "catchy little tune" when they played it yesterday.

The crowd was crazy. They were singing along to Beiber before Kris came out and Sexy Chick and a lot of other songs, Which was why I was surprised it was an accoustic show. It sounded like a dance party atmosphere.

Watching The Truth...it's okay. I like the song okay. When I listen to it I just kind of wait for it to be over. It's lengthy and repetitive. It doesn't excite me.

I also liked Detroits hard fought for FS/WOWY -- the chatty cathys were not quiet but by the end Kris had them in the palm of his hand.

I wonder how it's determined what shows will be acoustic? It must require fewer roadies (if there are any roadies). It must be an easier show in a lot of ways. Anyway, it hardly matters in the case of Kris & band, they're as exciting acoustic anyway.

Way to take it like a man.

LMAO.

It's a bit sad watching that harakiri video, because that's exactly how singer-songwriter Dédé Fortin, from the band Les Colocs, killed himself in 2000:

YouTube - Tassez-vous de d'là - Les Colocs (with English subs)

Crystal tweeted this this afternoon:

"Look up "before the music dies." Incredible documentary."

And then I saw this on the Grassy Knoll:

Crystal is recommending a documentary about the sorry state of corporate music, and one scene of the film in particular is about how to fabricate a pop star out of a pretty teenage model who can't sing. This came after the Idols' meeting "Mentor" Miley Cyrus. Of course, it could just be a coincidence... ;)

I heart Crystal.

Also, Kris will be in the If I Can Dream house tomorrow at 7:30 (10:30 eastern). I'm happy it's earlier, it was way too late last week. Hey, he'll meet Miley's ex (that annoying Justin), how lucky!

I'm afraid we're going to be disagreeing a lot about Crystal! I just don't care for her attitude overall. Why is she on AI, then? Because if she wins, she's going to be a corporate music star. If she's just there to get the money I can't respect that. I mean, I can't explain completely what bugs me, but basically it's very hypocritical.

I knew you would say this, LOL. Well, I guess I believe that you can win AI and retain your integrity, both David and Kris have done this. I don't think they're "corporate music stars". They weren't created by Disney or whatever. Yes, they're implicated in a huge corporation, but they're still true to themselves.

I LOVED her comment. If I was trying to break into the music business, I would abhore people like Miley Cyrus. Gosh, I hate her and I'm not even trying to break into the music business.

Aww, 19Evil can actually be 19NotSoEvil sometimes. They gave 5,000$ for Cook's Race For Hope Team.

The team is at more than 62,000$ right now, the goal being 75,000$.

Race for Hope - DC:

The Race is at the beginning of May in Washington. For Brain Cancer Research.

Well, I didn't say it very well. I guess I feel if you're the type who wants to buck everything, and have it your way, AI might not be for you. There are a lot of ways to break into music.

I guess I also feel that being open minded is good. I think it's immature to assume you know everything when you don't know much (Talking about Crystal here. She's not even a professional musician. If she already feels superior to people who are pros, frankly, I feel sorry for her. That's a lot of hubris, there.)

Kris would meet Miley Cyrus and he'd get something from it. (I think he had her on his ipod. Why? I'm guessing because he figures someone a lot of people listen to might be worth listening to.) He's not into judging everybody. It's not all about: he's on one side of the line, and someone else is on the other side.

If I was on AI, I'd try to learn something. I mean, who does she think she is, anyhow?

Well, I loved her comment. Maybe she didn't even mean anything by it. But I love her even more thinking that she did!

Also? Nothing would convince me that Miley's music is worth listening to. Nothing! Even less the fact that a lot of people listen to it.

Not even a video with a cute puppy or kitten? Maybe wearing cowboy boots? :)

I don't hate Miley's music. I just find radio's dependence on a few select artists really frustrating -- there are so many artists that just don't get radio play and then so many that get overplayed. And it seems a bit hypocritical that I want Kris to get overplayed with the best of them... but there ya go. I never promised to make sense. :)

Plus, Miley's fans are young. The young folk like repetition. I was reminded of this by a 6 year old this weekend. I found the biggest fan of 'I Believe' -- she likes to play it lots and lots and lots.

Crystal -- since I don't really know what she meant by the tweet or if it had anything to do with Miley killing music :) I can't really judge. I think the documentary looks really interesting though.

Random tweet moment.

Sebastian wishes he was a catfish? LMAO. I think Kris and Sebastian and Cale might get along.
