Yay for Kris getting a great reception! I hope we get good videos! Did he sing some new songs? Bring It Back? I Need to Know? From the Ashes? Send Me All Your Angels? I hope he'll do these songs live as well someday!

I'm going to bed, but it seems the Cook fangirls are crashing the If I Can Dream house camera system. LOL. It keeps freezing on everyone. Oops! They didn't know what was going to hit them when they announced that David would be there!

No, he didn't sing any new songs.

ETA: It's a Spring Fling concert so I think he would do his most popular or crowd-pleasing material, and not break in any new songs.

That was a nice video of Kris's intro (screaming audience) and then the beginning of Heartless. It'll be fun to see the complete videos soon.

Gah. Bad me. I opened the If I Can Dream feed. Glad that David brought Neal and Andy with him, because the people living in the house look pretty stupid. So, you'll be warned when Kris is in there next Tuesday. They're all eating pizza now. Chat starts in 10 minutes, but I so need to go to bed. Why couldn't they do this earlier???

Well, in the end, the twitter Q & A is not too bad! Lots of questions about recording and all that, which is interesting of course. Also, a question about Montréal! They really liked Montréal and poutine, lol. And they remembered that they saw KISS here.

And, a girl from the house was looking at Neal's tattoos and said something like: "wow that girl has big boobs on your arm"!! LMAO.

And Andrew is tweeting ridiculous stuff, LOL. Too bad they don't show it to them in the house!

Apparently, things got even MORE awkward after I went to bed and after they finished the Q & A.

There's potential for comedy gold when Kris is there next week. I hope he brings Cale and/or Katy with him. I'm sure David was happy to have Andy and Neal with him with those shallow people.

Just saw Lacey on Ellen and I thought she did great. Nerves can really get the better of people, on Idol. Not surprising, especially when they're inexperienced. She sang Kiss Me. It was interesting because I was on break and went to a deli down the street. They had the TV on, a huge TV, and I hear "Kiss Me", and I think it's a professional singer, it sounds so good, and then I see it's Lacey. I was with a couple of other people from work, and they, as well as the guys in the deli, all thought she was excellent. I'm sure MJ will have video (though it never really sounds quite as good).
Anyhow, I know you both aren't fans of her, so you may hate it, but I was surprised.

It's funny. I was giving a course today (well, it's a lab course), and I sometimes plug in my iPod, but today a guy was playing music from his cell phone and Cook's Light On came on. I almost lost where I was in my explanations, lol. I was so surprised to hear that song from the cell phone of that kind of "too cool for school" 20 year-old guy! He wasn't the nicest guy and he was totally lazy in the lab so I wasn't really in a mood to ask if he was a fan.

So Kris can't get you out of tickets but he can get you upgraded to first class. LOL

It seems to be aspiring actors/models/musicians. They're five and from what I've looked at, two of the girls are aspiring actresses and one guy is an aspiring musician. That guy, Justin, apparently took out his guitar later in the night, and when I looked at twitter this morning, there were lots of people who had said stuff like OMG, Justin, you suck.

David, Neal and Andy stayed there like three hours I think. One hour for the Q & A (but it was interrupted in the middle so that they could take pictures (???), that's when I went to bed). Otherwise, they ate and they played beer pong and fooseball.

Who is (are?) the White Tie Affair?
