The AI Now interview was really interesting. But they played NoBo in the backgroung! Way to ruin it AI Now, lol!

Okay, so I don't really have a favorite as of now, so they're all in a competition to be my favorite, lol!

Okay, I'm adding Janell and Lilly Scott to that list of potential favorites, if Janell doesn't go too country. What? AI has female singers that I like? Unprecedented!

Here's Justin. They didn't show enough for me to judge. I'm not generally impressed with him, though. I wasn't impressed at all with Tim, but ... how can you tell anything from a quarter of a minute of singing?

Wow, I may start to believe it. Believe that a girl will win. Both Didi and Crystal were very good. I got chills when Crystal was singing. And I don't even like the song she was singing, but I loved her!
Casey was good, but yeah, he's somewhat empty. I don't know if that makes sense. Probably the same thing you saw ross.
Poor Tim did Matt N.'s Bulletproof Weeks in his audition and Cook's CBTM in Hollywood, but I didn't like him.
Justin? I like his eyes. His voice? No.

I'm reassured. I really thought this season was going to suck after the first week of auditions, but I genuinely liked a lot of people tonight. And there seems to be other good ones that we just didn't see tonight.

Crystal can sing, she has quite a voice. I didn't think she had much of a singing style, though. Also, I was somewhat turned off by the whole backstory sequence. Getting a tattoo, etc. I don't know why, it just didn't endear her to me for some reason.
Didi is talented, also has a great voice, but she's not my kind of singer. I'm not fond of that pseudo-folk, Feist-type style, and the falsetto singing. It's a fad that I hope dies soon.
So I guess we disagree on those two! I'm sure they'll be around for quite a while, though.
Nobody really had "star quality", to me. Good singers, but that's not the same thing. I'm not sure I saw any TV stars tonight (and that's part of what AI is about).
