Yay, AOL! Oh Holy Night in February, lol!

Will watch that tonight... and re-watch the Slezak-Cook interview, that was a good interview! (And Cook looked really good!)

I only watched the Come Together-crowd surfing video as of now and I was grinning form ear to ear. Priceless!

Okay, I'm going from one set of videos to the next, just watched a couple of videos from the AOL Sessions. O Holy Night was AMAZING! Even for February! Was Kris sick though when they recorded the sessions? His voice doesn't sound the same as usual (to me). Like I love love love the recorded version of Red Guitar, but it somehow sounded a bit rough in the sessions.

Just watching more videos. I have to say, I'm so happy they brought back the guitar jam at the end of CSA. I'm almost disappointed now when I don't hear it at the end of the recorded track, lol!

Seriously!

IIO live is so totally my jam. I love it and yet the album version never grabbed me right away. It might be a slow grower too. Speaking of the song that doesn't grab - when I was listening to the radio station in Kuala Lumpor yesterday they played Lifetime on the air.. and I have to say I kinda liked it on the radio. I'll have to post that radio thing. It was hilarious, they are serious fans.. no messing about.

It's funny how some songs just grab you live when you don't really like them that much on the album and vice versa. I think that's what I was trying to say earlier about Red Guitar. I think I like the production in the recorded version and it doesn't really come across live. There are other songs that I feel the live versions are so much better and IIO is definitely a good example of that for me as well.

It's the same thing for a lot of artists. With Cook, I dislike the song I Did It For You on DCTR, but live, they added an instrumental jam at then end which made the song so much better.

I was thinking of the scorned Lifetime yesterday. What other songs has Kris never performed live? I Need To Know is one. Any others? I'm drawing a blank.

There's a rumor (no more than that) that Kris may be one of the openers for the Jonas Bros on their next tour. (Didn't they just tour, though?)

A rumored tour openers include : Joey Page, Steve Rushton, Kris Allen, and 78violet ( Aly and AJ ).

I was kind of afraid of this (I wondered if they'd plug Kris into Jordin's "opener" slot, next). But I don't think it'll happen. Usually Jive seems more savvy about who Kris is, and who his audience is, or his potential audience.

On the other hand, the JoBros do a world tour, and if Kris were to join them on some overseas leg of the tour, that wouldn't be bad exposure.

I've been hoping he'd open for John Mayer, or The Fray. Some credible act, not Disney.

Bring It Back!! The one I want to hear live the most amongst the "scorned" ones.

Ick!! JoBros! Say it ain't so. Honestly, I would never (never, never, never, never) pay for that. Never. Even for Kris.
