That interview was great! Kris seemed so hyper!

LOL at the French part. I couldn't even understand what the woman said, forget about Kris! "Laissez les bâtons rouler"? That's what I heard, lol.

Did Trugs tweet that Bieber was the worst thing to come out of Canada since Montréal? Aren't we supposed to like this guy? Well, I don't follow him anyway.

I went back to look, and yes he did. Grr! :quebec: Alex has verbal/twitter diarehha he can't stop himself, I wouldn't take him seriously. I do like him, but he can put his foot into it a lot. He's always apologizing for something he says.

I can't really hate on the Beiber either.. the kid's everywhere, and it's a lot of Beiber all the time. But he's just a kid. Every generation has their Beiber, and Beiber is the Beiber of 2010. Whatcha gonna do? What would twitter be like if Beiber wasn't trending 24/7?

Ha! That's hilarious :)

Do I have to watch Football starting at 6 or 6:30? I have no interest in the game, even less in the pre-game, but I don't want to miss Kris!

Yeah, I'm not taking Alex too seriously. But what did Montréal do to piss him off? Lol.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY for the American Idol. That was great. AINow (or was it RockYourIdol?) tweeted something cool about it like: "swagger + high notes = goosebumps" @krisallen.

So Kris is going to Haiti while Adam hangs on red carpets? One bazillion points for Kris.

I think it's great of Kris that he wants to go to Haiti, and he probably feels the need to go. I kind of wish he would stay put and rehearse/rest up for the Philippines and Singapore (after which he has to fly back and perform at the Kradison concert). But I admire him so much for personally trying to help. (I just hope he doesn't spread himself too thin.)

What would twitter be like if Beiber wasn't trending 24/7?

Oh, I think it would survive. :)

Sorry, the tweet (above) was: "goosebumps"... I changed my post. Originally I had written "amazing."

I haven't been able to listen to one video or even the Kris interview. Soon, I hope.

I thought he started out a little but shaky but he pulled it together and the end was great. And the crowd singing along was fantastic. :) A really good job I thought.

Some are saying that maybe Kris's trip to Haiti will be featured on Idol Gives Back. Randy did say that they would do something for Haiti during IGB, so that might be part of it.

ETA: Kris did look nervous at the beginning, he was balancing from one leg to the other. Not that I blame him, I would've been terrified!

I didn't think he needed to "pull it together," actually. I thought it was better than that. Never thought he was shaky. (I have no problem with your opinion, that's okay. I'm just saying I didn't hear that. I don't expect perfection in a live performance so I guess I don't hear these things.)

Stupid boys (David Cook is hanging out with Ryan Star in NYC):

Ha! That School of Style guy that photographed Kris took pictures of those signs on the wall, I wonder if they are meeting up with him?

For fun, I just looked back at our reactions to the first time he sang the anthem (Lakers game, June 7th). We hardly mentioned it. I remember at the time I was over at MJ's blog being annoyed at a lot of the posts. Tonight, well -- same thing!

SleepinIn, can you clarify that? I'm lost. Sorry. What guy, what signs?

The sign says "No pissing, no sh*tt*ng" per Ryan Star... which is what Ryan and David were "doing". I know. Classy!!

Oh, okay. But what about the school of style guy? SleepinIn has gone away.

Kris apparently gave goosebumps to a few people, judging from some of the tweets of people I follow. I love Kris's rendition of the anthem. It's like none other I ever heard. It's like I'm hearing the song for the first time. I don't even really like the song, but when he sings it I love it. No, it's not just because I like Kris. He just re-imagines the song musically in a way I like. Yet he sings it fairly straightforwardly.
He doesn't overdo the re-working of it. It's just enough. This is where his taste comes in. as usual. At least for me, his taste is perfect.

I heard Gokey's rendition not long ago and I really didn't like it at all. It was just syrupy, overdone runs. Taste? None.
