Yep, Kris banter with the band, Kris banter with the audience. Twas very awesome. They are a smelly band apparently, lol. But they all seemed very loose and relaxed with each other in Philly.

So Kris and Allison did a duet at that private party.. cool.

Something else from Twitter, someone is tweeting that they are doing background vocals on Kris's album ????? Um, what new album? Very interested in this.

That article popped up on twitter and so did this Jonh Mayer on Vimeo It's an interview with John Mayer at Z100 and he off handedly mentions Kris. It's kind of cool. They asked him about his album and he mentioned that he didn't think music was exclusive. You can listen to Battle Studies and listen to Kris Allen, or Jay-z.... so um yeah.. Kris Allen!

Who tweeted about doing background vocals for Kris? Um, cryptic tweet. Could it be related to that song Kris recorded for a TV show or something. Too much cryptic stuff!

Okay, is it me or does a certain blogger use words like "fantastic" and "amazing" whenever Adam sings something on TV and "good" or "very good," or even "very, very good," (recently) when describing Kris? (Today: "Another really terrific performance of “Whataya Want From Me” from Adam Lambert and his band.") I think she did describe the live performance last Monday of Kris and band as "awesome." That's quite effusive, for her. I was rather surprised a qualifier wasn't employed, such as "relatively awesome", or "very, very good, considering his voice is just okay."

Today I read something online about Kris that described him so glowingly I actually thought, "There must be some problem." It sounded like the usual press description of Adam: "amazing vocals" "sexy" "an audience favorite" "sure to have an incredible career in music" -- etc. I'm just not used to hearing Krissofer described as anything other than, you know, satisfactory, adequate, does a lot with the little that God gave him, etc.

Most annoying, to me, though, are some of his fans online, who seem to want to apologize for liking him. "Forgive me, but I know he doesn't really have the best voice, but..." I very rarely read anything like: "Oh my God, this guy blows me away, he's brilliant." Not that I never read anything like this (in fact, much more so, lately), but it's not pervasive. I think, though, it's slowly becoming more "acceptable" to say Kris is excellent, without fear of being chastised for it. Now if we could just get mj on board that would be very, very, very, very satisfactory.

I think there was speculation that it was a lie. So who knows if it's true or not.

I'm used to reading Kris is brilliant. This thread is 280 pages full of his brilliance, lmao. ;)

LOL at Lyndsey getting asked one questions and taking minutes and minutes to answer... she's a talkative one for sure!

And she got death threats on twitter after her article on sales? People are lame and/or insane.

I don't know if I can watch this. The music playing in the background is making me crazy (that, and her rambling). I wish someone did a highlight reel. (Does she have a cold?)

Okay!! Good job, Lyndsey. I actually was very happy with her article, she was one of the few people to tell it like it is, which I admired. Yeah, it was a pro-Kris blog, as she said, so naturally I'd be likely to agree with it. But it was also not at all anti-Adam, as she also said. I have to smile at how thoroughly converted to Kris she became...he does that to people.
