It seems to be the new trend, now, for people on mj's blog to say Matt is the second most talented, next to Adam. (Since Adam must always be the most anything.) I've found it to be another way for some of them to knock Kris.
(I've always felt Kris is the most all-around talented of the group, so to me he's not vying for second against Matt, he's first, anyway.)
For me, (for you) giving Matt credit for improving doesn't take anything away from Kris. Because I agree with you - *surprise*
I'm not sure what it is about Matt, I like him and I think he has potential, I actually like him as a perfomer better than Adam, he's much easier to relate to. But he lacks something, whatever.
I don't like him better than Adam..that's crazy talk. lol. But I do agree, he doesn't really have the spark for me either. But yeah, I do actually like him a lot too.
That Heartless video was good. He's getting looser onstage all the time. I haven't been watching much concert stuff lately, not sure why. Maybe it'll make the actual concert seem fresher if I don't. Though that's not why. I guess there's no real reason.
Maybe it's that plaid shirt. I'm quite sick of it myself. lol.
So, still feeling good about the Mat Kearney and other collaborations? I am.
I am. Especially since Kris clearly felt comfortable enough about it to let a little info slip out for once. I thought that was a good sign. Okay the twitters went wild with the Frothy Monkey sighting and that helped, but clearly he was in a good mood - and I'm excited to see him on GMA this week - and I don't even care if he's 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the line up. It's all good.
