What is the Zodiak Show, anyhow? Whenever I see clips from it, it reminds me of that scene in The Ten Commandments where they worship the golden calf. Like, an unintentionally hilarious orgy scene.
I'm not sure exactly but it just looks like a rock opera theatre type thing like We Will Rock You or that show that Constantine is in on Broadway. With a LOT of glitter.
That guy Ty was pretty good. I never saw the show Rockstar. Was this the same show as Rockstar Supernova? (That was a different band, though,right? I'm not familiar with the show, anyhow.) INXS was a good band, btw.

You'll be sorry you asked) The First year was Rockstar:INXS and the singers were - I'd say more melodic singers than the following year's Rockstar: Supernova. (Supernova was harder rock) I actually liked both winners the best.. and they were both from Toronto. (although that's not really why I loved them) . I actually think Rockstar influenced Idol in a lot of ways - Rockstar had (for me anyway) way better music than the early days of Idol. Much more rock influences - hence the title 'Rockstar'. It was a Mark Burnett show though so it was a bit Survivor in that the singers were trapped together in a mansion and coudn't leave. That changed for the second season as I think it caused them all to go a bit batty.
(Oh, and crazy good house musicians!!!! Crazy good) The show was actually filmed in the same studio as Idol although it looks different. lol

One of my favourite Lukas jam sessions. (I'd love to see Lukas writing with Adam actually - he's a great songwriter and they have that same ability to hit the crazy high notes)

so yeah, I might have watched the show once or twice or um, more than that. lol. And yes INXS were fantastic. Rockstar actually reintroduced me to a lot of their music, and I may have seen the band a couple of times after Rockstar...ahem..

Have you seen the new interview with Kris? By that huge Adam fan, whose name escapes me. Lindsay something. It's good. Of course, the first half is way too much about Adam, or Kradam, but considering the source I guess it's understandable. As for the whole interview, I think the questions were (mostly) unoriginal ones
Yeah, I saw that too. And I mean she had a canary on her blog when Kris won so I think all in all it was a really positive interview - not a lot new in the first half but the 2nd half was good.. and I'd rather she give us the whole interview than hold out on us.. so it's all good for me.
. I'm really disappointed he's not singing Falling Slowly on the tour. :sad: I kind of thought that was a given. I was really looking forward to it. WTF?
I was surprised he wasn't doing Falling Slowly too!!! It looked like he was disappointed too. So I wonder what the reasoning is? Or maybe it's rights related? I love his version almost as much as the original.

Interesting he brought up the Fray concert. She mentioned his 'tween fans, and he was trying to give her an example of how they react to him. But it seemed to embarrass him. He could only imply it, and it seemed to go right over her head. I think he was talking about how the girls at that concert supposedly reacted to him. Didn't I quote a tweet about it? It said he was mobbed, or mauled, or something, by girls there.
I remember someone tweeting that he was like a Beatle at the Fray concert. That everyone went nuts. I don't think she gets it. But that's okay. Did you see the MTV article with Joe King where he mentioned that Kris emailed him? I was excited about that since it sounds like things went really well.
I don't think Kris can blow his own horn. I doubt he needs to, but I think sometimes when he downplays stuff, it's taken at face value. Like, when he says the gets no attention, people take it literally.
You're right! That's exactly what I was thinking - I mean we're all thinking.. poor guy .. when let's face it. The poor guy had the majority of 100 million votes so even if everyone voted like 100,000 times each with AT&T.. that's still a
LOT of people. And as the Birthday video showed they are ALL OVER THE WORLD. Craziness. I wish the CI's had a fraction of the exposure.
