Speaking of direct messages, I tried to send one to Kris to ask about the date of the Collonade show. But I couldn't do it. It wouldn't let me type in his address. Is there some trick to it?

Well, like I said, I heard it on the radio as October. Kind of makes sense since David Gray has a concert in Boston on Oct. 23.

I CALLED THE STATION, spoke to Karson, I believe. IT IS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th.

So apparently they did misspeak yesterday.

I just said to him, "Did I hear October 19th or am I crazy?"
He said: "No. You're not crazy. You just have a lot of wax buildup in your ears."

Did you read somewhere that other people heard that date, too, SleepinIn? (Or, you just mean that if I heard it, so did a lot of other people?)

I called the request line. From the flippant way the guy answered, it was like he was trying to be funny for the listeners. They put stuff like this on the air. (Hope not.)

He also said: "It's invitation only, you have to win to get in. But you're halfway there because you're listening right now, right?"

I wasn't, but I said, "Right!" lol

I'd love to win those tickets but I only listen to that station a little at lunch and a bit more after work.

Someone at TWOP mentioned October too, and the hotel's twitter seemed to imply that someone at the station had said the wrong date. So you didn't hear wrong. Station failed at getting the right date.

You guys. How frustrating is it that Kris is going to be playing a small venue, right here in Boston, in about a week and a half, and there's no way to see him unless you win tickets? :-?

I wonder if he'll be hanging out in Boston from the end of the concert in NH (Sept. 15), until the 19th? Probably.

About as frustrating as being really, really far from Boston? lol, Seriously though.. I think it's awesome that Kris is going to be playing and doing radio promo. I think he's going to wow people. People still really don't know how good the guy is. I really wish you could go though

When they were in Hamilton the Idols were interviewed by MTV Canada's Jessi (of the Aftershow - in the US, they cover the Hills, in Canada it's more of a general pop culture show) and Paul of MTV Live. Things went well since Anoop is following Jessi and Matt is following Jessi and Paul (on twitter of course). They aired several tiny fragmented segments.. seriously they drag these things out for months. Anyway today Jessi mentioned that they would air another bit tommorrow. She mentioned Anoop and Scott, but I want Kris... and there might be a glimpse of him.

I really want to go. And when ross wants something, he becomes single-minded.
Kind of like Lucy Ricardo when she wants to meet a celebrity. Pretending to be a window washer and climbing in hotel windows, or dressing up as a bellboy -- not out of the question.
