That was really nicely put. I'm sure it'll be a zoo, but I'll try to think about what I'm going to tell you guys about it, and that will actually make it more fun, for sure. Thanks.

Yes, you'll have to bring back a great recap! I don't read fan recaps anymore (or even media recaps), but I'll definitely want to read yours!

I guess you guys will kind of be "with me in spirit" at that. Too bad I'm not going to bring a video camera. I may bring a camera, though. I don't know. I can't really watch the show if I'm doing that stuff. I think I wouldn't be able to focus.

I'm the same. I'm thankful for all the videos that people take (the David Cook fans come through everytime especially, they even film his banter), but I wouldn't be able to do it and still enjoy the show. So I won't be mad if you don't bring back videos!

J. Mraz is also playing here. Maybe I can actually go to that one. You've planted the idea now.

Good!

With all the shows I'm going to see, the only thing missing now is for Cook to get his ass to Canada (in Montréal or Ottawa preferably)! They're close to one hundred shows since February, I'm sure a few shows in Canada wouldn't be too demanding!

By the way, what did you guys think of Sebastian Pigott's acting? Oliver tweeted he's in another thing tonight (Sebastian, I mean).

I haven't watched the movie yet. I will. Maybe. And Oliver apparently made a mistake. The episode of The Listener that Sebastian will appear in (the show also airs in the U.S.) is only in August.

Thanks. I've never been too great a recapper, but I'm very opinionated! As I was saying before, I also may do a recap for mj's blog. But those people (literally) make me crazy, over there, so I don't know if I feel like throwing myself to those wolves. Still, a lot of people read that blog, so that's a reason to do it.

Speaking of Oliver and twitter, after I watched some of that show with Sebastian, I tweeted Oliver and asked him to tell Sebastian I thought he was good in the movie. Next day Oliver tweeted me back saying thanks and that he'd tell Sebastian.

Yeah, Oliver seems like a really really great guy. I love the support he gives to Sebastian and the care he gives to his fans. He remastered Pigottry and that makes me really happy since the sound is really crappy on the first copy that they produced. Totally takes my enjoyement away. I guess I'll just have to buy it again!

I can't believe how I got the Pigotts all wrong at the start of last season's CI. I really only started to like Sebastian because of the way he looked insecure and nervous on results nights, when he was in the bottom 3. Then I think I liked his dancing on the judges' table, and finally, when he was eliminated, I saw how nice a guy he seemed in the interviews. And I suppose I started to like Ollie because I liked Sebastian, but then Ollie came across as such a nice guy, himself.

Anyhow, yeah, he's really supportive of his little bro.

And I just wanted to add this comment I found under a YouTube video of Adam's WLL in Memphis:

I can't breathe, I'm shaking, I'm crying, I'm having a seizure...I don't know what's wrong with me. I can't control my hormones. Just imagine what'll happen when I'm actually in the same building as this...thing. I swear I'll faint during the first note he sings. LESS THAN SIX DAYS! OH, MY GOD! Don't even try to understand my excitement.

I honestly don't think this is a parody.

Now I'm officially scared to go to the concert. Because what if I end up sitting next to her? :-?

Omg, I have a woman who stars in x-rated videos and is a Kris Allen fan following me on twitter. To block, or not to block?

Hey, don't block me!

I'm just kidding! Not even on Twitter.

That. Is. Scary.

It's weird. My computer did a Flash Player update this morning and since then I can't see the videos on MJ (I wanted to watch the Kelly Clarkson videos she posted) and I can't see what's in your post, ross. I wonder what the problem is.

Kanye's Heartless is playing in a car that is parked right outside my window right now...

Hey, don't block me!

LOL!!!

That. Is. Scary.

I know. Do you think it's for real? I keep reading it over for the epic-ness of it. She is heavily addicted. Prior to Adam, she probably got excited over a nice hot cup of tea and some toast with Nutella.

OK, I can see the videos now. I re-downloaded Flash Player.

Not that is scary. Not able to see videos? Life as we know it would cease to exist.

I hope you got to see Kelly. Mine were just more Kris videos. ("just" Ha.) I'm noticing something, he's loosening up, getting more comfortable. I like that.

YouTube - "No Boundaries" in ASL

I like the disclaimer. "I'm not deaf" Oh, yeah? If you're not deaf, how can you listen to that song? Well, maybe he means it like: "I'm not deaf!! Please stop shouting at me!!" (As in: "...stop shouting at me, Adam Lambert!!") Sorry. I'm in a weird mood.

I think this proves how bad that song is:

YouTube - No Boundaries by Kris Allen on piano

Okay, where is the melody? I ask you.

Still, the funny thing is, I still get sort of teary when I hear Kris singing that song.

LMAO. Too funny!!

I just listened to No Boundaries on the ole ipod. And yeah, I don't like it much. But Kris did what he could with it... the Phillipines seem to really like it. *shrug* What up wit that? I like his live version much better than the show version or the Studio version.

The other song I re-listened to lately is the Kris Danny duet of 'Renegade' - I actually really, really like their studio recording. Do you guys remember if rock week was the week that the person fell off the stairs and they had to cancel rehearsal? I'm just wondering if that may have affected their sort of disjointed live performance.

I'm serious about that porn chick. I went to her page and her tweets alternate between stuff like (these are actual quotes) Please view my SEXY profile and Please see my X-Rated pix, and stuff like WE JUST WENT HIGHER. WE JUST WENT DEEPER. #KRISALLENROCKSTAR.

Kris has fans all over.

Yes, that was the week of the disasters. I don't think their performance was disjointed exactly but it just was like Danny was singing by himself, and almost like he would rather not have been singing with Kris (I still get that feeling watching it). Come to think of it, I guess that does mean it was disjointed. lol

I have heard that it's good. I don't know if I can listen to it as it was my most enraged moment all season, that duet and the whole show. Somebody on the Grassy Knoll thread (or was it the Kris Allen thread?) was asking for examples of when the show supposedly uses bad lighting and editing to help throw a contestant under the bus, and I remembered this show and Kris. I'd have to go back to the AI site to give it another look. I thought it was especially true of the Beatles song for some reason

Kris Allen and Danny Gokey: "Renegade" - Performances - American Idol

By the way, this is why I get kinda misty when I hear NB. He did it really nicely on the finale. (I hope you can see this stuff in Canada.) Vocally he's not great on this but the emotion is right!

Season Finale: Kris Allen's "No Boundaries" - Performances - American Idol

I never noticed this before but look at how Simon reaches out to take his hand (you only see the back of Simon's head).

PS: Did you see the interview I linked to with Kris? I thought it was funny when he talked about people shaking when they meet him. He's so together, don't you think? Or is it a facade for a nervous, insecure person? He sounds like he's just grateful for the opportunity, but don't you think he wants the big stuff? I think he does. (Did you see that interview where he talks about Brian May? Where did I see that?)

That's what I thought too. But, after listening to the studio version I think that while they had a lot of trouble merging styles - they managed to do it. I think the disasters might have affected them with the live performance - I don't know - just a theory. lol.

I can watch the Fox stuff. Fox unlike MTV likes Canadians - for now anyway. It is nice to watch the emotional NB with Kris's win - but that song.. it just irks me. lol

As long as porn girl is tweeting for Kris - she can't be all that bad right? lol.

I know. That's why I didn't block her! I usually block those people.

Anyhow, I'll listen to that version of Renegade sometime and give my impression (along with that Arkansas magazine article I still haven't read for some reason).

Those twitvids were nice. The crowd seemed kind of exhausted, which they possibly could be after a three hour concert. Plus they all just had orgasms when Adam was onstage. That can be wearing.

I still think ATTTID is a kinda blah song for a concert like this. It's not the greatest choice, but then, not a lot of thought went into choosing it. I know you like it, SleepinIn. I like it, too.

That got posted before I finished it.

Anyway I think the song is good but it's not typical Kris and he can't really kill it. And I want him to wow the audience with all five songs. That reminds me. That interview with Kris where he talks about Brian May. He says BM was the only person he asked for an autograph, and that when he did, he (Kris) asked him if he had any advice, and BM said (or wrote) "Kill."

So, Kris says, he will kill.

Hee - yes, I like it a lot - but there is a moment that seems to drag a bit during the song that makes me wish he didn't have a giant hole behind him. So, yes I do agree with you. I don't think Kris is perfect, so I'm okay with criticisim - hee - but that little video got me all kinds of interested in what he was doing with the song tonight on guitar. It might not be at all different since it's so far away and blurry - but it makes you think.

So, Kris says, he will kill.

He will kill, for Brian May. :) I thought that was funny too.

Um, no, he's perfect.

Okay, that's what separates us from the Adam fans, I guess. We can be critical of our fave and still love him.

You are so right about that hole. And I think you mentioned the curtain once. The curtain is okay for Heartless (though why it's there, I don't know), but for ATTID it shouldn't be there. The band should be down front with him, or whoever in the band can come down front. Or something. Well, I also don't think it's the right song. You can tell by the audience reaction.

But about that hole...I can relate it to something I read once about how a director "solved" a scene that wasn't working in a play. The audience wasn't focused, becuause (similar to this staging w/Kris) the actor seemed to be in danger of falling into a hole onstage. Once this was changed, the scene worked.

Impossible for Kris to rock out if he has to be careful about backing up into the hole. You can't rock out and be careful at the same time, right? But I also think that in the higher seats, the audience would be too distracted by the hole opening up behind him to really focus on him and just relax. They would be -- not exactly worried, but just -- distracted by the thought that here's a guy with his back to a gaping hole, and he'd better not step backwards.

So maybe that also has something to do with the audience reaction.

That video is pretty far away (maybe I should watch it full screen), but I did notice he was really starting to bring it, with the guitar, tonight.

I was just over at mj's blog. It has really become like an Adam fansite over there.
I'm not sure why except I guess the other fans have been driven away by the pervasive Adam tards. (It's worse now because mj is at the concert tonight, so she's not moderating.)

I was listening to Mix98.5 this morniing in the car and heard, "Coming up in the next hour, Kris Allen, Kings Of Leon...etc. They played Heartless (of course). Then at about 8 tonight I was in the car again and heard it again! So I guess I was wrong, they're still playing it.
