I knew Jacob liked to get high but I didn't realize he was such a dedicated stoner. He gets in little plugs for weed all the time lately. On twitter, as well. I think this could explain a lot of his behavior!

So, do you guys think Kris doing songs from the CD at the Dolphins' tailgate party is as unusual as some people seem to think?

I'm hoping Kris intends to play guitar as well as piano with the band (which I'm assuming is four pieces, but who knows?)...I also hope he'll do acoustic performances with the band. He's creative, musically, in a really cool way, so I think we have some treats ahead.

I don't think it's unusual for singers to do that at all. Is it unusual for an American Idol to do that.. maybe? I don't really remember what happened with the others do you remember if anything happened like that with David missaddicted?

I think this could be really interesting. Kris is really creative and Cale seems to be too. Organic might be the buzz word. I'm really kind of excited about it.

Thanks!! Danny's mom -- wow, where were they hiding her? I never saw her before. (Except at a distance.) I don't think all the parents could necessarily afford to go to a lot of shows. The Allens seem to have money (judging by their neighborhood, in the hometown visit), but I feel bad for people who couldn't afford to be there all the time.

I thought it was somewhat unusual, yes. Especially with all the secrecy that surrounded Kris' album. Well, there is less and less secrecy with the reveal of the tracklisting and all, but maybe since the tailgate party is not something that will be necessarily broadcast to a big audience, it could be just a good way to see how the new songs are received.

I guess I shouldn't be that surprised since something like that did happen with David last year. But it was only one song. David performed on SNL last year on November 2nd (his album came out November 18th). He performed Light On and Declaration, which was the first time that fans could hear this song. I remember how I was feeling last year, not necessarily loving Light On that much. But when they did Declaration, I was so happy (yay, I LOVE that new song!). And it was the band's first performances together on TV. It was quite special anyway, and it's still a favorite moment for a lot of fans.

About the mom makeovers, I remember that either Kris' mom or Adam's mom said that it was totally fake, that they had met each other before and that they had to fake it for that show.

Aw, that is cool. Kris will have fun tomorrow I think - Playing new songs, then football! lol

Now the Hedley thing is hella boring. OMG, I never want to film anything ever. They're plagued with children (the kids are multiplying) - the guys are really patient with them though.

Why are they showing Chris and Tom sitting around instead of Jacob and Dave filming the video?

I keep checking back in to the Hedley thing. They've shown them filming a few times in various places, sometimes though I think the rooms are too small for everyone to fit. I don't know why Chris and Tom ended up with all the kids, lol. But I can't believe how patient they were with them all day.

ETA: I just read on MJ's that WBMX will be spinning LLWD next week, although they haven't added it. Ears open Ross :)

All right!! From that map you kinked to before, both BMX and XKS have been spinning it. I would almost rather see it go onto XKS because that's the Top 40 station. But -- yay! anyhow.

Alex and Jason also tweeted each other the other day. (It's an Idol love fest I'm tellin' ya) Alex was Jason Castro's brother's roomate during Hollywood week. I think it's safe to say that Kris, Alex, Matt and Michael were hanging out during Hollywood week.

Allaccess shows some really nice responses from stations this week in their hot picks. Top 40 Mainstream Hot Picks | Top 5 Pop Songs from Mainstream Hit Radio Programmers ...

Oh, yeah, the tweet was from Jason. You had mentioned that! Twitter confuses me. I thought it was from Kris, I guess.

I can't really decipher some of the All-Access stuff but I see LLWD mentioned a good number of times as being popular.

The quality of the videos is, of course, not that great, but Before We Come Undone sounds great!

Yes, I mentioned it in my post. But he did a third new song and it's that one that I couldn't identify.

About the bass player, are we sure it's him? It really seemed like a woman... Is Cale the guy with the white shirt?

Better videos will turn up tonight I guess, so we'll know for sure whether it's a man or a woman!
