Oh, yeah. That performance was really moving. It just about broke my heart. You're right they really should have sold the video as well. I already had the song, but I bought that one too. :(

Of the album tracks I think...at this moment.. I'm officially the most interested in the song "Is It Over" by Kris and Cale and Mike Elizondo.

I was just looking at some of the stuff Cale did with Latture and some of the songs are really beautiful.

This is a student film that used one of Latture's songs.
YouTube - Latture - Sunset. A music video

Part 2 is so good.. lol.

(okay, I still need the Mat Kearney song not gonna lie)

Just watched the interview. LOL at his "You can't say no to high school girls", oops! Seriously, I can't wait to hear all these songs!

And it was a good question about the cover songs. And yes, Kris will probably get a lot of demand for Heartless (especially if they put it as a bonus song on the record). Heck, David still gets requests for Billie Jean, a year and a half after Idol.

He was so excited about his band, that makes me excited!

LOL at his "You can't say no to high school girls",
Did you see his terrified little eyes as he realized what he said? LMAO. OMG it was the funniest thing.

I think Lyndsay was surprised that Kris just sang Hit Me Baby One More Time at the request of the girls at the school.

and twitter is abuzz that Kris and the band.. (Cale and who else Kris? These are things you could tell us.. just sayin'). Will be playing 4 new songs on Sunday at the football tailgate party!!! Eeek!

I already had the song, but I bought that one too.

It was for a great cause too, so that's awesome. I bought it also (no kidding!). The version with the band is even more intense that the recorded version.

Of the album tracks I think...at this moment.. I'm officially the most interested in the song "Is It Over" by Kris and Cale and Mike Elizondo.

I'm impressed that you can even choose! I can't...

What's Latture? That's a pretty song you posted. Is it Cale singing? I thought the singer was a tad boring...

(okay, I still need the Mat Kearney song not gonna lie)

What about the Walmart (yuck) bonus song? Send Me All Your Angels? Do we know something more about it? I hope it's not as cheesy as its title.

Someone asked for Lindy Robbins's resume on that blog. Someone obliged and ick. I'll agree with Jim C. (does he really post on MJ's?) who replied that her resume is scary. None of the songs she wrote are even remotely something I would listen to. Kris' songs will be the first ones I guess...

Who is saying that? Reliable source? Because I would be shocked if that happened. Four new songs when the album is not even close to be released (well, it is, but not that much)? I'm not sure I buy it.

ETA: Just read that Kris said that? Wow, I'm really surprised, but yay for hearing new songs in advance! Well, hopefully we'll get to hear them.

Other question: Is Kris in Miami right now? Where were the football pictures taken? Isn't he eating with Alex tonight?

ETA: Well, that was three questions and not only one, sorry!

Hee. Yes it's Cale (I think) It is a pretty song but it doesn't really go anywhere so I'd agree that it's a bit boring. It does give me an idea about potential though. It's an interesting mix.

Send Me All Your Angels?

Hmm, yeah this one doesn't interest me all that much. lol. Although Christmas is coming.. angels.. Christmas.. it could work.

Some of her songs I like, some I hate. Have to wait to see.

And yes, he's in Miami and Alex is going to school in Miami - so it works. lol

Alex lives in LA but goes to college in Miami.

No one mentions the Alex Band songs. I guess that didn't work out.

I didn't look at the blog today, after this morning. I got wicked annoyed because some people were implying Kris hasn't been as supprtive of Adam as Adam has been of Kris -- on twitter. I couldn't even continue reading it. Kris is so supportive of Adam he could be Adam's agent.

Um...so I never saw anything from then on.

Oh, OK, it makes sense about Alex, I didn't know that!

I just checked the album tracklisting thread on the blog. The comments were good when I last checked half an hour ago. I stay away from the headlines thread.

This is true. People expect a lot from these poor guys. If they don't instantly tweet something to each other they get grief for it. Never mind the fact that they actually have each others phone numbers, and can also text or email. Or like see each other in person. It's a little ridiculous.

ETA: And in the Lyndsey Parker interview Kris took it a step further when Lyndsey said that it was like there were three winners this year (like whatever Lyndsey, lol). Kris then brought Danny up and mentioned him being signed and then mentioned that the others would also get deals. It's one of the things I like the most about Kris. He's unfailingly supportive of everyone.

They can also send personal tweets. And they're also free to not answer tweets, to ignore each other, live their own lives, or be incredibly busy. Basically, who gives a big fat ****?

But anyway, this "Adam is so considerate it's too bad his friends aren't" b.s. wasn't what I was in the mood to read this a.m. So I ignored the blog the rest of the day.

I just got in. Glad you guys are still here.

Uh, me!

No, of course not.

I have this love/hate relationship with Twitter. It cracks me up, but sometimes it makes me cringe. Cook tweeted this today: "I did not shave. Odd I have to tweet that. Absurdity is afoot...". Were people actually asking him on twitter if he shaved (some reports from last night mentionned that)? Really? Can't the guy decide what he wants to do with his own facial hair? To shave or not to shave, that is the question.

It's hilarious that people expect them to run tweet something or trend something - it actually annoys me when people do it to Jim and Michael Slezak too. They're kinda busy at the moment. lol

Yeah, I know. I also think his answers (like this) are very intelligent and indicate how well he thinks on his feet. Not that she meant that question as a trap, but it was like a trap and had he fallen into it he would have looked rather bad. Had he agreed with her he would have pissed off Danny's fans. He also would have pissed off some of his own fans, who don't want him to accept co-winner status with anyone else. And he would have annoyed the fans of the people like Anoop who don't have contracts. He avoided all that in one fell swoop, which I thought was so right. He amazes me when he does stuff like that.

Yeah, me too. He really does think about what he's saying.. unless it's about not being able to say no to highschool girls. LMAO. And he means what he says. Which is why it was so apparent that he didn't like NB. That came across for me the moment that they announced that he won. It really is written all over his face.

LLWD now playing in Vancouver.

That's awesome! I wonder why Toronto is being such a pain about this? I will have to step it up in the request campaign.

I was watching that last night.

YouTube - Kris Allen Wins!!!

I still can't believe they have to sing after a moment like that.

Aw, I was so happy for him.
LOL - that makes me think of his .. "I'm going to Disneyland.. yay?" He was so trying not to be cheesy. It was awesome. lol.

I still can't believe they have to sing after a moment like that.

Me either. And not only do they have to sing after a moment like that.. sometimes they have to sing 'A Moment like This'. *snort*
