I agree! Now, let's hope that many many radio stations add the song to their playlist! Any news on that front? I don't really know how to check that...

The Cook fans are at it again: trying to trend #davidcookrocks on twitter once again... we'll see if it works!

The interesting thing about that Radio poll Ross is if you check the statistics on the youtube video. There are a lot of guys voting on it. (Maybe just you.. lol) But for the first time the statistics skew towards guys rather than girls. It's also really popular overseas for some reason -- If I was better at geography I could tell you where.. sadly I'm lucky if I can find Europe. :) (kidding - but still don't know where it's popular)

I like Billy Talent.

Guys, I'm having trouble with my AC adapter (for my laptop). It's not working. I just ordered one online but it'll take several days to get here. I don't want to wear out my battery, so I'll have to be here only once in a while (mostly at work, I guess).

Thanks for the information about the spins SleepinIn. I can't say that I know what is good and what isn't, but it's interesting to see the numbers.

Well, I'm sort of taking the notion that anything above 1 is good. :) I don't think the single has gone for adds yet either.

Aww, this is so cute. I'm not sure he gains any "rock cred" when he brings little girls on stage to sing with him, but hey, it's so cute (the little girl had a sign asking him to sing that song with him):

Aw, that was really sweet of him - and yeah - wow the video quality is crazy good. Some fan videos are now better looking than actual videos.

So I looked up LLWD and it's #34 on iTunes top 100.

Acc. to what I read on the nameless blog, Adam's CD became available for preorder today on Amazon and is already the #2 selling album in the top 100 (as I said, on Amazon).

Have to log off now. Guys, if you have any interesting news, let me know, if you wouldn't mind. I'll be trying to take a look at this thread at work from time to time. I feel like I'm in withdrawal...

Oh, Ross - I feel your pain. We are hard to be away from ;)

Adam's cd was always going to be HUGE - that's okay though - competition is over (except for in the minds of the fans and the media - lol). This is a long term career thing. I don't mind if Kris starts slow, although # 34 for me isn't bad for a song that only came out on Friday. We knew Kris wouldn't get the bump that some of the other idol's got -- but he does have a good song. And for me that means more right now. I think he will get airplay. They haven't really started their push for that yet.

Kris's brother tweeted that there would be an Allen singing the National Anthem at next week-end's UCA game.. Don't know if that mean's Daniel is going to be singing, Kris or some random cousin, lol.

Well said SleepinIn (as always!). I'm not sure that his numbers in the Amazon pre-sale really mean anything in the grand scheme of things though. The pre-sale just started today, so of course all the Glamberts were going to go on there to buy the CD in the pre-sale. But that's not the general public. And Amazon represents only a small part of the overall sales. I'm pretty sure the same thing happened when David's CD was made available as a pre-sale on Amazon's website, so really I'm not sure the Adam fans really have anything to gloat about. Yes, I'm quite sure that Adam is going to beat Kris for the first week sales (and the media will definitely lash on to that), but Adam is not going to sell one million copies in the first week or whatever number his fans want to believe he'll sell.

The withdrawal must be awful ross, I also feel your pain. At least going back to work means that you'll have access to a computer!

Plus, they didn't have the option of buying the itunes pass way back when.. they have been pent up with no cd's to purchase (except the random one that came out.. and the 10 Commandments). And you know pent up Adam fans -- look out.

At least we got those itunes pass videos during the summer. They've had nothing Adam for awhile. I mean it was probably always going to go to number 1 (is it 1 yet? I want it to beat Susan Boyle..liked her singing.. would never buy her album)

Guess I didn't know Adam's CD was always going to be huge. Or that Kris wouldn't get the bump some of the other idols got -- you mean because the show didn't really promote him? This is the stuff Simon predicted, but I guess I didn't necessarily think Simon was right. Actually I'm still a little confused by how Adam could lose if he is "more popular" than Kris. Unless you believe the conspiracy theories. If he is so popular that his CD was expected to be huge, and he had all these mega-fans at the concerts that screamed louder for him than anyone else, and if there are such low expectations for Kris, why didn't Adam win? He should have won in a landslide.

ITA. Re-reading what I wrote an hour ago, I didn't mean to sound like I was disputing what you said, SleepinIn. It seemed to come across like that when I read it again. :( I guess I was just attempting to try to understand what's going on.

I think it's funny how Kris and David were tweeting each other.

Kris keeps getting followed. He's about to hit 107,000. Didn't I just tweet 2 days ago about 106,000? (I know I don't have to tell you these numbers. You guys have twitter, too. I know, I know. :) I guess I just like to.) I just think it's very encouraging. Especially since he's passed Gokey, now. ;) By about 5000 followers. But who's counting? Heh.

Yesterday I glanced at that blog. There was a single paragraph saying Adam's CD was available for pre-sale on iTunes. One paragraph. And something like 700 repsonses to it. Imean, what can you say to that? Yippee, maybe, but other than that? Exploding Glamberts.
