Yes! It was amazing hearing him sing Falling Slowly again! Him singing that song makes me both giddy and a bit teary-eyed. All the songs and the duet were amazing, I loved it. Whatever the Glamberts say, Kris sounded awesome.

I'm difficult though, because I wish even better videos will turn up. I know you're both used to the underwater cellcasts, but the sound on the individual videos was quite atrocious to me.

Oh, yeah Falling Slowly.. You're right Ross he should have done that on tour. But then again - hearing it like this is so nice.

I want better sound quality too.. but.. omg. Dying.. This has been a good week in the life of a Kris fan.

I get over five pages of videos. I get the band Portugal in the "spotlight" box. Maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Probably not.. I think youtube tailors the top vids to your own most viewed or something like that.. although.. Justin Beiber does not compute.

Oh, yeah, missaddicted, the sound sucks. But it's amazing how you adjust your ear to ignore all the static, reverb, etc. At least I do. It's more like you have to imagine what it really sounded like. I think we're lucky to get this because supposedly they confiscated a camera from someone.

Did you guys see the video guys taping it, though? I mean, they follow them everywhere and tape everything, I suppose. Or maybe that was for the evening news in Dearborn? I would love to see that footage.

*snicker* I've only listened to Starlight - cause the accoustic version kills.. plus I've been listening to MITM pretty much on repeat.

And next week, we'll get to hear his first single on the radio! Next week should be a good one too!

My recommends are very Idol heavy. Could be because I've favourited pretty much any small tiny 23 second snippit of Kris I can find. I really have to weed out the favourites. But I don't wanna.

Oh no! They are streaming, but not outside the US!!

I guess it's still going to be on MJ about 10 minutes after it airs though, so I should be allright!

I'm probably not going to be up that early, anyhow (still on vacation). I would like to hear it debut, though. But I guess it'll all be recorded.

Go back and re-watch this interview - They've added an interview with Matt and Danny -- It's seriously hilarious.. and also at times really, really annoying. I can see why Anoop got frustrated being stuck on a bus with those too, lmao. But they also talk about Kanye, and Danny talks about Sophia's Heart.. Matt talks about his snake..I love them. LOL.

You're going to have a blast! How are your seats for the concert? Or did I ask you that, already?

Well, my trying to win those tickets to Kris/David Gray didn't work. Since I've been up here, I haven't been able to get the station on the radio in the house, though I can, in the car. Yesterday I was at a farm buying corn when I realized it was one of the designated givaway times (1:45. It changes each day, but they announce it in the morning), so I rushed back to the car and Heartless was playing (they usually play it during the call-in period). I dialed and redialed my cell phone, but I never got through. There aren't a lot of cell phone towers around here, either, so the connection sucked. At that point I thought, "This is stupid. It isn't going to happen." :( And I haven't bothered since then.

It was in June, they were performing in Tulsa, OK (where David and his friends from his band lived before the Idol madness) and after the show, they did a "secret" after show acoustic gig in the bar where they used to perform. I was on vacation when that happened and I pretty much only discovered these videos from this awesome gig.

How are your seats for the concert? Or did I ask you that, already?

It's (somewhat unfortunately) a general admission show. I expect lots of pushing and shoving. It happened last night and it was sweet, calm Regina Spektor who was playing. I don't even want to think about how it'll be when David is there. I'm wondering right now how early I'll have to be there to get a good spot. At least, I'm tall and that's definitely an advantage in these kind of shows!

It's too bad, I wish you had won tickets. I'm sure there will be video though! And I'm sure you'll have the chance to see Kris live, maybe even more than once (!), in the next year. If David is coming to Montréal, I'm certain that Kris is going to go to Boston! Heck, maybe even SleepinIn and I will have the chance to see him live!
