Canadian has no idea about when it comes to the history of this land, it makes the head spin; Prime Minister after Prime Minister has gone through some motions, and it ends there because, in the end, they're still biding for time to come up with new ways to oppress First Nations people, period! Genocide was committed in Canada; some of the stories I have heard ripped at the heart. No need to go into it, but I will point out that Lester B. Pearson argued at the UN, in 1952, that Canada should be exempt from being seen as genocidal; he won that argument; today, we know that was wrong; five years later, however, Canada's future Prime Minister won the Nobel Peace Prize; imagine that! In 1969, Pierre Eliot Trudeau was PM and had for Indian Affairs Minister, Jean Chretien, who said he would fix the "Indian problem" once and for all, and the "White Paper" produced was another white-wash; Chretien later becem PM as well; it is significant to note that all those Prime MInisters were educated by Jesuit priests, which was no accident. Jesuits played a prominent role in enslaving First Nations people going back hundreds of years; one of the big problems with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission is that some members swore allegiance to the Queen of England, and that need not be spelled out for its ramifications!

this has all been run through the UN and is the main reason we are never going to get anything but a non permanent security council seat.
