No man you got it all wrong, I was laughing at you, Trudeau was and will remain in the political history books, as the Mohamed Ali of politics in the western world.

Mohamed Ali (as Cassius Clay) was a draft dodger too....

As usual Walter can't get it right. Diplomats from around the world filed past Trudeau's casket for five or six hours. Jimmy Carter, Prince Andrew. Fidel Castro was there but he sure as hell wasn't the only one. I was there and I saw it.

Good evening LW,

I know but both loved peace, if you love peace you do not kill unless your life is about to be taken from you, this is why Trudeau believed that Canada should be a refuge from militarism.

I am sure you know, you are entitled to this ill opinion about one of Canada's greats, what will be more vivid then anything in the eyes of millions who believe differently than you,

Really? And exactly is it that you think I believe?

is the class and connectivity in social terms in which Pier Eliot Trudeau was very successful, vs PM s who are on record with nothing noble in achievements that would provide a better standard of living for the people.

Could you do me a favour and rewrite that statement (or question...I'm not sure what it is) in English?

Trudeau did more than his part of destroying Canada with his damn bill of rights.

Good evening Risus, are you suggesting that peoples bill of rights should be revoked, or should have never been introduced?. That is crazy>>>>>>>>>>>

Really? Does this look like a man that loved peace?

Don't confuse "unwilling to go to war" with "peace loving". Ali was a warrior.

Sports vs killing with a gun is like comparing apples and Dinosaurs, the sport of boxing is engraved in the mind of boxing lovers as a sport of dancing while working with the fist, "dance like fly sting like a bee" can’t compare the two.

To be send on a war like Viet Num while Clay new it was a bad cause why support a bad cause?

You can believe that if you wish. At the core though is the need to win. Boxers have died in the ring. Killing for sport...killing for money...killing for duty...it's still killing and at the very least, those that went to Viet Nam could at least argue that they had some noble cause...unlike Ali.

To be send on a war like Viet Num while Clay new it was a bad cause why support a bad cause?

Why beat the crap out of some guy in a ring. Are you suggesting that winning a title is sufficient "cause" to pulverize a fellow human being?

Trudeau was a very polarizing figure = some love him, some hate him.

He did some good things - helped legalize birth control, etc etc, even the Bill of Rights.

I don't know why some relatively normal people think we shouldn't have a bill of rights. Many of these people are the same ones who worship the US, which was founded on a Bill of Rights, which is worshipped. I don't understand why Canada isn't supposed to have one.

Post something coherent and I won't have to insult you by asking for clarification. You seem to get insulted pretty easily. That is a common trait amongst the loony lefties.

Cannuck we are all friends here, but coherent to you is playing stupid games with people, your demeanor to some is actionable.

There was nothing wrong with the constitution that was in place.
The bill of rights has caused nothing but trouble.

I think the bill of rights has made life fair for all on paper, in some areas of the land bill of rights means nothing, but having it engraved one is at liberty to argue a fair trial.

Enjoy the weekend Risus this is the last weekend for me here.
