I was wondering when the weather would come into your arguments about climate change. Answer me this. What caused the record rainfalls in Southern Alberta 100 years ago? The record that was broken was set back then, and I am fairly sure that climate change was not much of an issue.

Could have been all that coal you were burning. You are trying to misconstrue what I said by using a very specific example though, Blue. That's a fair bit less than honest. Nice try though.

Consider the weather events around the world in the past few years...record breaking temperatures, more droughts, more floods, more hurricanes, more tornadoes. Do you think that might possibly fit into, "...most indications are that it is playing at least a minor role in our recent wacky weather." More and more scientists do.

You have no believability at all, Blue. Toro's little theories are proving to be harmful every day. He never did tell me what price he puts on a human life. Didn't make his talking points memos, I guess.

What price do you put on a human life, Blue? Do you put the same value on the life of a Mexican unionist or a prostitute in Zimbabwe as you do on Stephen Harper's life?

And after reading your posts, and reading TORO's posts, too bad, so sad, you came in a distant second in believability. Toros post positively reeked of facts, believabilty, and logic. Yours reek of something else.

Why thank you Blue. That's much appreciated.

have you plugged the environmental and human costs into your formula yet, Toro? Yeah, I thought not. I'm guessing you're too busy standing at the sink chanting, "Out, out, damned spot."

I figured hallucinating was your provenance considering your avatar.

If you'd done the homework behind that avatar, you would have found a man willing to face the hard truth and not back down. The hallucinations were just an entertaining byproduct.

As usual though, you never bothered to delve below the surface.

Sounds like you're making an auto-biographical statement.

Duke? Willing to face the hard truth? He's stoned all the time. I didn't realize people got wasted to confront reality. I always thought they did so to escape reality. I interpreted Duke as cynically exploiting whatever situation he found himself in. Plus, he's my favourite Doonesbury character by far.

I thought you might actually take the time to do some reading. I guess not though. He's derived from Hunter S. Thompson.

Well, you seem to know next to nothing about what we've been talking in this thread and that didn't seem to stop you from voicing your opinion for 15 pages.

Actually I know a fair bit about it. It is your insistence that nobody on the left understands economics, apparently because we insist on asking questions that you cannot or will not answer, that makes you think that anybody who disagrees with you must be wrong.

You get those blood stains off your hands yet?
