The lads are off to the Gold Medal game against Finland tomorrow. The team came together at just the right time, Spammie. Looking forward to a hard fought battle ............with Canada on the winning end.:canada:

This game is everything I hoped it would be, spammie - fast, exciting, lots of scoring chances and a 9+ minute play with no whistle. The 2nd P ends with the teams tied one apiece.

GO CANADA GO!..............and guys - stay out of the P box okay.

Congratulations to the Fins for their Gold Medal win - they earned it. Congratulations to Team Canada for winning the Silver. Not the outcome I wanted but it was a great game and fairly played.

That was a strange game. I watched close to half of it, flipping back and forth with the Indy 500, and at no time was a Finn in possession of the puck. How did they win that game?

I guess it depends on the technicality of who has possession of the puck when it's in the other team's net.

Canada couldn't capitalize on penalties and the finns capitalized on penalties. :(
