That the man still wants the job is a strong endorsement for his values. Obama will be a very good president. Anybody who thinks the dems are bad for the country has his head so far up his ass, daylight is never seen.

A link would add some weight to your light opinion on this matter Mr Missle.

Let’s see what Obama would have done differently.

He would not use taxpayer’s money to bail out the banks and the start of the depression would have started sooner.

You would be out of a job and dumpster diving for your meals.

Obama would not have gone to war and the terrorism would be on American soil, which means you would have do your shopping with sniper rounds going by your head.

It is still cheaper to fight a war on foreign land because American infrastructure would not be destroyed.

We have to remember that Carter let American hijacked hostages rot because he was too afraid to do what had to be done.

When Reagan was elected the terrorists let the hostages go because they knew what the Republicans were capable of and Afghanistan and Iraq is suffering the wrath of the Americans and the terrorists wished they never heard of the World Trade Centre.

Are you serious? Cause I can't believe a rational person could spout so many talking points and actually believe them....

First off, this is purely conjecture on your part - how on earth can you claim that there would be terrorism on American soil, if the US hadn't gone to war (and which one do you mean)? That's absolutely silly.

Second, if this truly is your thought process, what on earth are you doing with PET as your avatar?

That is a specious argument.

I have a pebble that keeps lions away, how do I know it keeps lions away? I haven't seen a lion yet therefore it works.

"the bills passed that de-regulated this entire system, causing the mess, were passed in the Clinton administration......."

You forgot that they passed because they were part of the Republican "contract on America".

As usual, you do not really understand USA politics. Good thing the mods did not give you the job of USA politics forum moderator.

Reagan created al-Qaeda as I have shown before. See my earlier posts on the subject. Without him there would never have been an attack on USA soil.

A chain of events led the release of hostages, nothing dirty took place talloola you are thinking of the Iran/Contra affair. However Reagan just got in at the right time had Iraq not invaded Iran and had Iran not felt the effects of economic pressure created by president Carter. Reagan secured the release of the hostages through negotiations (you know, the same thing republicans say is wrong) and releasing about 8 billion in Iranian assets. The only real controversy is Reagan didn't wan the hostages released until the day of his inauguration, he didn't want any credit going to Carter. Kind of sick keeping people in the arms of kidnappers in the name of cheap politics.

I can tell you one thing though, had GWB ben president everyone of those hostages would have been killed in some silly "mission accomplished" scenario.
